Food was delicious, especially the egg rolls which have a rice paper wrapper. The chicken pho has a rich, delicious chicken broth; some places just put chicken in beef broth. The staff were nice, but it was slightly intimidating for me, a non-Viet person.
A 30 year-old pho place on busy Brookhurst had 50% OFF BEEF SOUP sign hanging outside for years. I wondered 50% off what? and hesitated to go in. Just too many good Pho places nearby to waste time checking out a potential gimmick.
