The salty sticky rice is not delicious, the sticky rice is mushy, the shop owner should reconsider, the rice grains must be soft but not stick together, we eat sticky rice, not banh duc ?

Uncle Long and Moo next door share the same owner and kitchen. We got Bánh mì bò la lot (B1) from uncle Long and ordered xôi mặn (sticky rice) from Moo so we could sit down and eat. The lady at the registry desk for Uncle Long refused to crack a smile or say hello when we walked in. Lucky server at Moo lifted the mood. Bánh mì was good but was a little on the sweet side. Xoi (sticky rice) was wet but all the topping was delicious. I’d get bánh mì again but not xôi...
