Have you ever looked at dessert and just could help but smile? Every time I have a cream puff from Beard Papa's that is my reaction. The giant choux pastry shells are dipped in chocolate and topped with a variety of toppings then filled fresh with a vanilla, chocolate, or green tea custard. This beard papa's is found in the little food court inside Tokyo Central and you can't miss it. Please try it if you're ever in the area.

I love this Japanese transplant and their cream puffs. I saw that they had a store inside the Tokyo Central market I was visiting and had to satisfy my craving. We shared the Honey Butter shell filled with Vanilla cream and the Strawberry Eclair shell with Vanilla cream. The Honey Butter shell is my new Fav!

This place is located in the Tokyo Central food court area. I liked the concept of ordering cream puffs like donuts because I love cream puffs and have never seen anything like this place. I got the original and chocolate cream puff shell with vanilla filling. I went pretty late in the day so I didn't expect anything to be fresh. I will say I'm sure they taste even better fresh. But what we got what was still good. If they can do the basic right then that's enough for me. Definitely will be back to try them freshly made hopefully soon!

Original cream puff is so good not too much sweet . Outside is Crispy and little salty. $4 of each. Too small shop.inside center Tokyo. Surprise for location . Not so much too crowded but we found Papa Beard here.let's rat...Service is nice.

I love cream puffs. And these are consistently good. They have a huge assortment of shells and fillings. Honey Butter is the classic, still my favorite, also tried the Reese's and the Apple Caramel. Creamy, fluffy fillings, all good. What is there to say? These cream puffs have no equal, and Beard Papa speaks for himself.

When you get them fresh they are the best cream puffs I have had before! When I first tried them I was very impressed but the second time they didn't seem as fresh and didn't taste very good. Probably wouldn't try again because it is inconsistent

The shu, puff part of the pastry is made once in large batches, not reliably fresh. The filling is often insufficient. Not worth the prices charged.

I really like the chocolate filling cream puff. I prefer the mini ones but they did not have anymore when I went. I dont get why I was charged 8.50 for 2 puffs 1st then about an hour later I was charged 9.00 from a different cashier ?

We had some delicious cream puffs. Really nice and creamy. The puff itself was slightly crunchy and fluffy. We just got the original and the chocolate but there were many other flavors we will be back to buy. They wear the full uniform just like the brand and the owner looks a bit like Beard Papa.

Came here hoping to get some fresh beard papas cream puffs to go but no one was at the counter. It was 12:30 pm and there's were cream puffs displayed but no one at the counter. No bell either to call staff. I was disappointed as I couldn't get my sweet treat. Oh well!

Took a dozen of these to a recent family party, and they were a huge hit! My favorite is matcha creme, but they have many flavors. Some family members liked the new churro flavor. On the weekend, not very long of a wait. Easy parking in plaza lot. The puffs are pretty large, so you can share too!
