I love this Japanese transplant and their cream puffs. I saw that they had a store inside the Tokyo Central market I was visiting and had to satisfy my craving. We shared the Honey Butter shell filled with Vanilla cream and the Strawberry Eclair shell with Vanilla cream. The Honey Butter shell is my new Fav!
This place is located in the Tokyo Central food court area. I liked the concept of ordering cream puffs like donuts because I love cream puffs and have never seen anything like this place. I got the original and chocolate cream puff shell with vanilla filling. I went pretty late in the day so I didn't expect anything to be fresh. I will say I'm sure they taste even better fresh. Have you ever looked at dessert and just could help but smile? Every time I have a cream puff from Beard Papa's that is my reaction. The giant choux pastry shells are dipped in chocolate and topped with a variety of toppings then filled fresh with a vanilla, chocolate, or green tea custard. This beard papa's is found in the little food court inside Tokyo Central and you can't miss it. Please try it if you're ever in the area.
