Good Thai food for the money and it comes out pretty quick. almost fast food like. Selection limited. Order at the counter, and they bring our the food to your table.

Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.

Delicious food, great location (tons of seating), awesome people working there; a really great experience. I had the Pad Thai and it was excellent, the chicken was very flavorful, everything was great. Will definitely be back.

Really friendly service, great food and great value! The chicken salad was very well balanced and fresh. The grilled beef was delicious and so was the crispy pork. We usually go to their main restaurant Sweet Rice but decided to try this one out for more protein and it did not disappoint. Everything was made fresh with great quality. I will be going back!

The food is absurdly good, people are friendly, place is clean with great music and comfortable seats, plus they serve beer. Why are people lining up 200ft away to eat at IHOP instead of coming here?!?!?! This place should be packed at all times of day.

The menu at Bowl Thai offers a variety of traditional Thai dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and vibrant colors. I believe Sweet Rice is the co-op restaurant that offers lesser known dishes, so I believe this one may be more family friendly for those who are familiar with traditional Thai dishes.I opted for the Pad See Ew with shrimp for my daughter, which was prepared to my satisfaction. The noodles were stir-fried with a delicious combination of soy sauce, garlic, and vegetables. They have some really good stir-fry rice dishes that they serve with meat and vegetables that I would recommend. One thing that truly impressed me about Bowl Thai was the attention to detail in every dish. The presentation was exquisite, with each plate beautifully garnished, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff at Bowl Thai were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and even offered suggestions based on my preferences. Their genuine passion for Thai cuisine shone through in their service, adding to the overall positive experience. The ambiance at Bowl Thai is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal place for a casual meal with friends or a cozy dinner for two. Whether you choose to dine indoors or enjoy the outdoor patio seating, you are sure to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your visit.Overall, my dining experience here was exceptional. The restaurant offers a delightful array of authentic Thai dishes, served with care and attention to detail. If you're in the mood for flavors that will transport you to the bustling streets of Thailand, I highly recommend giving Bowl Thai a try!

Had to find quick takeout meals for friends in Gardena area. Thanks to Yelp, found this great place. So clean with great customer service. We had to pick up and go soon. when we opened the takeouts at our friend's place, everyone loved Shrimp Salads, Papaya Salad, Crispy Pork and BBQ Chicken. We would love to go back and dine in there when we go to Gardena.I would recommend this place for any Thai food lovers.

A small, neighborhood type restaurant that serves up delicious, fresh Thai food. The folks here are friendly and the place feels more like a fast casual type place/concept (meaning you order at the counter and wait for your food at a table or to take out). The menu here is limited to grilled items, salads, and some stir fry dishes. Really simple and straightforward. Which is great when you want a delicious meal and have a little trouble deciding. Think - great place on grabbing a bite on the way home from work or going out with the fam mid-week, etc. If you want a little more variety, the sister restaurant is literally next door and has more noodles/ soups. There's seating outside in the courtyard and a few tables/ booths inside. Parking is easy because it is located in a strip mall anchored by a grocer. Ordered the pad kee mow and yumm goong. The flat rice noods (pad kee mow) had a great flavor and didn't taste too greasy. The yumm goong or the salad with grilled shrimp had a great smoky flavor along with the fresh greens and light dressing. Very pleased with the food here. I got the butterfly pea flower tea with coconut milk to wash it all down. I really loved the flavor of the drink. Reminded me of some flavors I had/ experienced when I was younger (in Viet cuisine). Definitely recommend if you want a quick-ish easy, delicious meal without the pageantry of dining out.

I've been to one of their sister restaurants, Sweet Rice, which is literally next door. Thoroughly enjoyed the food there so I had no doubt I would like this place too. And I wasn't wrong. It was phenomenal. Loved everything I ordered. Asked them to prepare everything mild since I can't handle the spice. Even when some parts of the entrees tasted too spicy, I still powered through because it was just too good not to. The Yumm Goong salad was so light and refreshing, I could eat that all day. The shrimp had a charcoal grilled smoky taste (in a good way). The mixed greens, tomatoes, shredded carrots, cucumbers all tasted so fresh! The Pad Kee Mow (with chicken) was good, a reliable good staple of any Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, this was a touch too spicy for me but again, still delicious.Tried both versions of their Buttefly Pea Flower Tea. I loved them both! The first one was mixed with coconut milk. The second was mixed with lime juice. However, the lime juice is brought to you on the side so that you can mix it yourself. Prepare yourself for a little chemistry experiment as the tea changes color when you do this. Fun!

Love that this is rice next to Sweet Rice! Love ordering a noodle soup dish from Sweet Rice and getting a salad to compliment the dish from Bowl Thai Grill! Been trying different salads here lately and randomly came across the Yumm Goong which has become my favorite salad alongside papaya salad! The dressing is tangy and not too sour and with some sticky rice on the side is the perfect lighter meal! Service is always great here! Super friendly people who are always welcoming and happy to help!

Bowl Thai Grill is tucked in the corner of the Tokyo Central Plaza on Redondo Beach Blvd. Bowl Thai Grill and Sweet Rice are actually owned by the same person! They compliment one another with savory and sweet and are located right next door to one another. Bowl Thai serves classic Thai staples and specializes in their "Yaang" grilled meats. We really loved their papaya salad which comes as an option with the "Yaang" grilled meat dishes and I am a huge sucker for Pad Kee Mow.What we tried:- Kai Yaang w/ Jasmine Rice & Papaya Salad - chicken thigh meat in "three buddies" marinade, dipping sauce- Shrimp Pad Kee Mow - flat rice noodles, shrimp, egg, chili, mint, lettuceHot tip: Make sure to ask for their chili sauce tray. If you love the heat, don't skip out on the delicious Thai spice!Instagram: @jessgoeat
