My experience here was ok. It's a Carrow's and the main reason that I went was for the jumpy monkey sundae. Pablo was a terrific server! The food was solid & moderately priced. The restaurant could use a renovation as it looks like it's been the same since the 1980s.Now... The jumpy monkey sundae is basically a banana split with coffee ice cream instead of vanilla. It looked fantastic when it arrived as you can see from the picture. However, it arrived with vanilla ice cream. It was still very good. But I just wish that I would've been told that they didn't have coffee ice cream. Because without the coffee ice cream... That's pretty much a banana split.So, if you choose to dine there & you choose to order the jumpy monkey sundae... Make sure you ask if they have the coffee ice cream!!

It's Carrows. Nothing new or spectacular but it's nostalgia. It's still here! I think they've been here almost 50 years now. It's nice to see something stick around for awhile. I have been going here for decades and I will continue. ?

Called ahead for curbside pickup. Very fast and no mistake with my order. Staff is very friendly. You can also dine in if you like. Plenty of parking and great tasting salads ?.

I am always in pacific square and today (Sunday) my boyfriend and I pulled up to Chick Fil A not remembering that it was closed. So we opted for Carrows since it's the next closest breakfast spot. Upon entering, Carrows seems like a nice cozy little diner that looks like it's never seen a remodel (which I love, I love old places) and most of the patrons were seniors. When we were seated and looking through the menu, I noticed that the menus were sticky and grimy. They made that smacking noise when you'd flip the pages and the tarp mural was peeling off the wall. This made me feel like this restaurant isn't cleaned frequently and made me rethink coming to this restaurant. Our server was nice to my partner but seemed annoyed with me because I thought I could get an order of Cinnamon Roll French Toast with my potato pancake plate. I have never been here before so I thought the drill here was the same as Dennys or IHOP. I ordered the potato pancake breakfast and my partner ordered an omelette plate. The potato pancakes were pretty good, but the portion of eggs was super small. I actually like that the portions here don't leave me feeling like a zombie like when I leave IHOP, but a bit more would've been nice. Bacon is bacon so no complaints there. It's a run of the mill diner that's seen better days. My biggest issues were with the cleanliness and service. The food is standard Dennys/IHOP fare so not much to complain about there.

Stopped in for a Tuesday morning breakfast. Haven't been here for many years. It used to be one of our late-night go-to places so we decided to stop in. The menu has changed a lot, we were seated right away and the food was good. Service was also good but this was far from a nice quiet breakfast. The customers that eat here now are loud and inconsiderate of others who are eating. This is not the restaurant's fault of course, but these people made for an unpleasant meal. We're paying customers just like they are and we don't want to listen to their loud inconsiderate jabbering and even louder laughing and every one of them was trying to talk over the other. Aside from the rude people, everything else was good so 3 stars.

This place use to be a 4 star but after the Pandemic it’s not the same. We ordered a sandwich and it came with like 10 fries ? The fettuccine had no taste. And the garlic bread was A PIECE OF HARD TOAST WITH BUTTER ? and the steak was burnt. Not sure if it’s a different owner or different cooks but they just lost me and co-workers as customers.

Every time I get an order a good day are pretending like I won't wont for it or like I am stealing the food every time. Of course I try to say something and they don't care so I am taking it to the next step. Stop accusing people of stealing here. Hello I feel like they are Gardena food and they are everywhere. Stop making me a bee-line towards Young ladies. Honestly I would rather see them take a loss. Stop putting more value on the food than the customer. I'm literally going right back outside are they having an issue anytime someone comes here to pick up food? Stop

I really like this restaurant. It feels very local and the serving staff are above and beyond welcoming whenever I have been in. Consistency is also on point- you know your order will be exactly what you expect every time. Great diner food, great pies, and a great little kids menu.

I came to Carrow’s with my family for breakfast and had a great experience! Our server’s name was Jasmin; she was very patient while we ordered our food and displayed a positive attitude towards us and the customers around us.I understand everything everyone will not have the same experience, unfortunately, but the service and atmosphere today was enjoyable and calm. The food was satisfying (it didn’t leave my stomach uneasy). Usually my dad picks at restaurant food to remove burnt pieces but today there was no need to pick at the food before consuming. :)

My intentions were to post my review on Saturday after my visit to Carrows. But, here I am.. better late than never. My mom and I enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service. Jasmin & Trinidad deserve all thumbs up. although, extremely short staffed those 2 handled everything . Smiles, accurate/hot food; checking in throughout our meal. Very impressed. Thank you.

No. Just no. Worst service. We dined in on a weekday evening and the server has unpleasantly rude. When our server was absent and inattentive, we approached the manager who kindly assisted us. When she returned to us, she seemed perturbed that we were already helped by her superior. The food portions were small for what we paid for. My reviews have had 6,926 views in the last 90 days. I rarely write 1 star reviews. So, you know Carrows in Gardena, CA is awful.
