Crazy Rock'N Sushi - Gardena

When selecting this sushi place to visit, I checked the Google reviews and saw it held a 4.2 rating. After dining there, that feels a bit generous for the overall experience. The sushi itself was decent and certainly edible, but it did not stand out in any memorable way. With the food quality alone, I would have considered something closer to a 4.0 to be fair.

What ultimately lowered my personal rating to a 3.0 was the service. Unfortunately, that is where the experience did not meet expectations. The service felt inattentive and lacked the level of care and attentiveness you would hope for when dining out. With stronger service, this could have easily been a solid 3.8 experience, but as it stands, a 3.0 feels like the most accurate reflection of the visit.

Food is great. Guy at front desk is always so rude. Got here to check in at 850 was told they will be closing at 930 we can sign in and wait but may or may not be serviced. This establishment closes at 10 pm.

Sushi was good as hell! I got the R18 Truffle Salmon roll , and the man who took my order was very friendly. I added jalapeño’s on top when I got home because I love spice 💚

The night of our visit to Crazy Rock’N Sushi - Gardena was particularly busy. We waited about an hour to be seated. The ambiance made it feel like a local Japanese sushi restaurant. The sushi rolls we ordered were fantastic! However, I was disappointed because two the of salmon sashimi pieces I ordered still had bone in them.

This is my first take out order. I was very disappointed. My sesame chicken was so over cooked. It was very dark and uneditable. The Salmon Teriyaki was also slightly over done. I have been here several times before and it is good, but as stated this is first take out. I will stick with dine-in only.

Food was bland. Not high quality sushi. Portions were great and so was presentation. Service was excellent. I tried sushi, curry katsu, chicken fried rice and poke. Poke definitely need some spicy Japanese mayo or something else. Chicken fried rice barely had any seasoning.

I ordered the Rising Sun, there was a hair on one of my sushi rolls! They did take everything off of my bill. The waitress asked me if I wanted a call from the manager (she said the manager wasn’t there) and I said yes and she took my name and number. I have yet to get a call from the manager. The sushi itself was not quality sushi. I would say equivalent to grocery store sushi. I ordered it, so I was going to eat it until I found the hair. The waitress did apologize for the hair, she was very nice! The manager not calling me was weird but I guess they felt like they didn’t need to call me since it was taken off of my bill.

Hi was served on two occasions spicy tuna rolls that was bad spoiled
And made sick won't be going back

This has always been my go to place. The Sushi is always fresh and the customer service is great. It is a hole in the wall type place so it can get crowded.

What happened with the friendly environment??? They are rude and unprofessional!!! The floors, tables and Chairs are DIRTY... not sure what happened here but after waiting for about 45 minutes to get someone to help us we had to leave... even the people next to us was surprised no one had help us!!!

This place was one of favorite places to eat sushi till now! The Hostess at the door was rude and unprofessional
After placing our name on the list we was called for our table the same Hostess just pointed to our table RUDE!
But the part that got my mad was the wait of 50min and we stilled didn’t get someone to take our order
We tried to get someone to help us But nothing!!! 50 minutes!!!! we even called their phone to try to get help……
It used to be friendly and clean…..

Happy hour is great for a bogo 50% off. Sushi rolls are relatively fair pricing and good selection
