Tried out the pork buns at their food stand during the 626 Night Market at OC Fairgrounds and fell in love!THE FOOD ELABORATION. - Pork Bao | Fluffy, slightly sweet, steamed bun with flavorful shredded pork and shiitake mushrooms inside. Recommend trying this out. - Melty Bao with Pork | Steamed bun with shredded pork and shiitake mushroom inside. It's then cut in half with cheese slapped on each open side and melted on the grill. Absolutely, mind blowing delicious. All steamed buns should be made like this. Highly recommend... and buy one for me. Please and thank you. THE VIBE EVOCATION. Fair vibes. They have a bright red sign you can't miss. There's a grill next to their stand so you can watch as they melt cheese onto the steamed bun. The staff were friendly and helpful as they navigated me through the menu. THE PARKING AFFAIR.As I mentioned, we tried Nikuman-Ya at the 626 Night Market on the OC Fairgrounds, so parking pertains to that location. Arrive early to get a spot close to the entrance. How early is early? About 15-20 min before the 4PM opening. Parking is $12. THE RETURN QUANDARY. Yes. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the money.

You NEED to check out the vegan bao buns and the vegan baoger. Simply incredible. They make everything fresh on the spot but it still comes out super fast! Whenever I walk into the market and see that they're closed, my heart breaks a little.

I love this spot for yummy buns. I've been coming here for years, and cannot believe I've never written a review. Service is always so friendly, and they get orders out really quick. They're located in the Tokyo central and main food court, and they only do to go orders. You can definitely eat your food there if you're able to find a table. This place sells everything from curry, to chicken sandwich baos, to sweet red bean baos, and even milk tea! You really can't go wrong with their signature pork baos. They also offer a melty cheese bao, which is smaller than the normal size.If you feel like saving money, you can order 9 frozen ones to take home for $40. Hard to resist them though when they are hot and fresh and made in front of you. A must try if you are in the South Bay!

This place is always a favorite. We don't get it often but when we do, our bellies are happy! On this trip, we actually ate at the food court. During COVID, we got into the habit of ordering via DoorDash. The downside is that they do close early-ish so you have to mind the clock if you're hoping to get food from here. We had many a hopes dashed because we did not plan well and had to resort to plan B for dinner. Once you order, they'll cook the bao and it comes out relatively quick. The wait is not too long. We ordered:Melted Cheese Buns. So good. Goes so well with tapatio. These are heavy. I usually share with my spouse. Iced Hojicha. Refreshing! It's located inside of Tokyo Central off of RBB. The parking can be plenty or hard to find. It depends on the day. Once you're done, you can check out the other vendors or go shopping at Tokyo Central or walk around the plaza. Try it! Enjoy!

Cute little place to eat with amazing baos. The chessy baos are so addicting. It's located in an asian market that's super cute too :D

I haven't even tried the buns yet. I was so impressed with the iced coffee that I had to come here and gush. I got it sweetened and it comes with coffee iced cubes. It didn't taste strong but I was wired all day.

This place rocks. Scrumptious food, good prices, ample portions...Go for the cheesy pork bao or the dim sum. And thank the chef personally

Cheesy dumplings were unheard of to me, and I must admit that I was a little apprehensive about trying them. I am so glad I decided to try them. They are so delicious and filling. The two dumplings are a meal in and of itself. The only thing that makes them better is the dipping sauce that comes with them...the chicken wings are good too.
