Squid and wasabi spaghetti has been my favorite for over a decade. However, it was fresh wasabi root with very pleasant aroma. Now it's a pickled wasabi and something g has been missing for me. Maybe I am just picky. But the 1 dollar salad and the refillable sweet tea is always must-have! Bread is always fresh and soft inside. I will still go back every time I am nearby...

You can eat Japanese chewy pasta such as cod roe and mentaiko pasta.It's very delicious, Japanese is completely OK, and the menu is also in Japanese.I can highly recommend this place.

I had the #3 butter sauce spaghetti with cod roe and the $1 salad, with an iced tea to drink. Everything was perfect and suited my craving exactly. Along with the house made bread they accompanied the spaghetti, my meal was filling and super satisfying.Excellent service and great recommendations from the wait staff, too! I can't wait to come back!
A small , but highly efficient and service oriented bakery and Japanese influenced pasta restaurant with a Michelin star in food taste, presentation and service. The French bread and pastas were home made. The bread is worth to serve to the French President. It is fresh , crunchy outside and soft and delicious inside. The pasta was well prepared. Simple ingredients with authentic taste and flavor. Lots of vegetarian dishes . Salad was fresh and the home made dressing was delicious.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and vegans will enjoy eating these dishes and I highly recommend.

I stumbled upon this place with coworkers one evening while in Los Angeles on a work trip when I learned that it was a Japanese spaghetti I was like that sounds very cool. I’m glad I went in out of curiosity and gave it a try, the spaghetti that I had was very fresh, and surprisingly with the mix of textures within the spaghetti it paired very well. I would definitely go back and try other spaghetti options, as there were so many, from ones that look more traditional to others with their sea, urchin and infused or marinated beef or chicken to. The service was great, I’m glad that the waiter shared some of their recommendations And the inside of the establishment was clean. The restaurant was able to accommodate me adding shrimp to my pasta dish as I wanted some additional seafood.

The portions are pretty good sized. They give you some complimentary French bread as part of the meal. The place is busy and small so you may or may not be seated at the counter. Depending on where you are sitting, you can also watch the chefs cooking
