Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.

This used to be the best Thai food in South Bay when it first opened and I became a regular but unfortunately I think they changed chefs. Last couples of times I've been disappointed so stopped going altogether. Overcooked rice, undercooked chicken and poor service.

The Kao Soi is soooo good. Next time I get it I will get a side of rice to mop up the rest of the curry. Can't wait to try their omelettes, rice dishes, and desserts. I'm very fortunate to work nearby. I'ma get all of my coworkers hooked so we can have lunches here! Shout out to Misohungry for putting me on to this spot.

A perfect lunch spot — They also have a really good tapioca dessert on weekends only.

Can't get enough of their Kao Soi noodle soup, eating it 2 days in a row says it all, Yesterday i had it with beef but today i will try it with chicken. Can't get enough of the flavor from this dish

Love this place!!! Do yourself a favor and get the Khao Soi... after that you can venture off, but I bet you'll keep getting the Khao Soi!! It's the best I've had anywhere near here... I also love the Boat Noodles, but some of the ingredients may not please the mental palate... if you know you know!!

Sweet Rice is a fast casual Thai Restaurant primarily known for their khao soi as well as desserts. There is a private parking lot out in front shared with a few other Thai spots. They are frequently out of their coconut icecream so don't get your hopes up if you come here solely looking for coconut icecream. The menu is extensive with different types of soups and noodle dishes. You order and pay at the counter. The food is brought to your table. Water cups, utensils, and takeout boxes are located in the back. *The chicken Khao soi was good. It doesn't taste Michelin worthy however, it was still a solid bowl of creamy curry noodle soup. The soup was rich, milky, not really spicy to me. I feel like the soup needed more acidity than provided. The workers weren't very friendly so we didn't bother asking for more lime. The pickled mustard and crunchy wonton strips added a nice crisp texture. *Boat noodles were good but nothing I would come back for. The beefy blood flavor soup was heavy and rich. The rice noodles had a good chewy texture. The beef was tender and plentiful. The meat balls were okay, very springy and snappy.*Mango sticky rice- this was a great dessert to finish the meal. The sticky rice was perfectly sweetened by the coconut sauce. The texture was chewy and soft. The mangos were sweet despite it being off season (winter). I thought the bottom part was more mango but it turned out to be just the seed which was disappointing. It felt too expensive to be just one slice of mango. Overall, we had a good experience. We wouldn't go out of our way for Sweet Rice- only if we're in the area. It wasn't the best Thai food I ever had but a good option if you're looking for khao soi.

The best Thai food in South Bay for sure! I've been living in Thailand and I was craving real, delicious Thai food. After trying a lot of places this is definitely my go to! Sooo happy I've found it! Not to mention Kao Soi is such a rare dish to find in this area! P.s: don't miss the mango sticky rice either!

Always visiting here for the jok :) With the coconut juice, this meal is comforting the next morning, after a long night out. The jok comes with little fried dough pieces to dip in and there are sauces available to bring to your table if you need to add some flavor. I'll have to try other dishes next time. Staff is super nice and gives off a 'mom & pop' feel!

I came here few weeks ago because I told my parents their kao soi is really good! Which is was or maybe still is? But when I came they changed their beef to shabu meat instead of actual pieces of beef! And I was so disappointed. Maybe they ran out of beef that day or week and couldn't get a shipment in?
