“I bought a fruit cup at the Earth Bar in LAX because the fruit looked like there was a possibility that every piece might actually be ripe. I was pleasantly surprised to discover every piece was indeed ripe-kiwi, mango, pineapiple, and grapes. This is a first for me in mass-marketed fruit cups.“

“Got the acai bowl and chipotle chicken wrap. I really enjoyed both to be honest. The mix of ingredients to acai in the bowl made it mix well and the wrap had the right amount of sauce which, in my experience, seems hard to get right. This place does it right“

“I was driving through town and stumbled upon Uptown Coffee. The vibe was welcoming and the shop was clean. Their espresso was smooth and rich without any bitterness at all. “They really do have one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The wrap is toasted slightly crisp, and they don't skimp out on the chickens sausage, avocado,or pico. They also include beans so you get that fiber too, and their salsa/sauce I had a small kick but great flavor. The owners seem like genuine, kind, caring humans who want you to enjoy their food. And the pricing is lower than what you would expect.“

“Good ingredients, customizable bowls with no extra charge for toppings (other than protein). Presentation is a cup, not a bowl, so a bit different experience than the usual açaí bowl. A little pricey. But left feeling good and replenished on a sunny day!“

“I’ve been cutting out refined sugar and it’s been difficult but I came across this place and I was able to have a wonderful chocolate shake with almond milk and cocoa, yes it had sugar but pure cane sugar. It was a great alternative and it taste so yummy! I was also able to add toppings, healthy toppings, strawberries, blueberries, etc. so good! Can’t wait to go back❤️“

“Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

“Great staff, first and foremost. Whenever I am in the area and want a protein sweet-treat, I come to this oakberry. It’s kind of expensive so I can’t do it too often, but the unlimited toppings even it out a bit. The people here are fantastic and very kind.

“Just kind of wandered into this place. It was clean, and a good selection of breakfast and light lunch fare (sandwiches, salads, etc). I had the vegan sandwich that came with a side of mixed greens. Everything was super fresh, the tempeh was flavorful, I loved the creamy spread, and the sourdough was perfectly toasted. And not a bad price! You order at the front and they give you a number, and the food came out pretty quickly. The staff were super friendly. Not a huge space, but there several tables open at 12:45pm on a Monday. 1 hour parking on the street (they might also have a garage, but I parked on the street).“

I went to this other place to try açaí bowls thinking it was going to taste like the blue majik in roots and rye but it was so badddd. So hands down the best blue majik. “I cannot believe I have never written about this Ubatuba! I have been coming here for YEARS and I absolutely love it. This location is hands down one of my favorite places in LA. “My husband is a tennis player, so we love the Courtside Caffe at the Burbank Tennis Center. My fave is the Greek salad. My husband likes the pita pizza and burgers. The seasoning is wonderful. Today I had a “fried chicken sandwich” not fried or breaded., but grilled. Delicious! Their smoothies are yummy. And we’re sitting here watching people on two courts play, with a backdrop of the Verdugo Mountains. Gorgeous!“

“I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. There's metered parking and also seating outside perfect for a sunny day in LA.

One downside is the drink is a little too diluted, would be better if they make the drink more concentrated. But overall the drinks are not bad.
