“We had a lite supper. It was a late night out with our kids and granddaughters. They had run out of some items. The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious. The staff was very accommodating.
Vegetarian options: Many options: plantains, avocado, rice and beans... to name a few.
Dietary restrictions: Granddaughter has food allergies. They easily accommodated!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. We had 2 small children that loved the fresh avocado, rice, and beans... and we wanted to sweep up after them! The staff insisted that they would gladly do it. Thank you!“

“This is my favorite place to eat in LA. Their food reminds me of my grandmothers cooking!! It’s so delicious and comforting. The only thing is that I miss the boliche but hopefully it comes back on the menu one day :)
*Important news!!! The boliche is back and more delicious than I remember! This and the pollo al horno (with a side of plantains) holds us as our FAVORITE dinner in LA. Hands down!“

“Sundays from 2:30 P.M. and on I and my work partner provide Karaoke KG entertainment. The food is great, beer is served by the restaurant, and the waitresses and waiter are awesome. You would be making new friends if you decide to join us there. So come have a cuban sandwich with some yuka, and have a great time with Catty and Rigo. Your week will go by faster.
Vegetarian options: Yuka, frijoles negros, and arroz.
Yuka riot with olive oil and garlic sauteed, black beans, and rice.“

“We were here during dinner time, the waiting time is pretty short. We ordered 4 dishes, the two plates were very big, we had to take half the portion home. I didn't really like tamales, it tasted weird to me. The service is pretty no frills, not exceptional but not bad neither.“

“We ordered: 1. Cuban sandwich which oddly tastes like tuna because instead of using ham, it uses shredded pork whose texture is like canned tuna. Porto's is much better 2. Garlic chicken sandwich which tastes better but somehow lacks a certain kick that a proper Cuban garlic chicken should possess. Despite the mediocre food, we enjoyed the outdoor seating and service.“
