The only legitimate Filipino food for miles! Drove from Ventura County because my son requested Max's for his end of school year celebration. Our favorites were the fried chicken, adobo and fresh spring rolls. If you're with a large group, it's best to get there early because otherwise it will take a while to get seated... although it's a large restaurant, it's just so popular.
My Friends and I had a wonderful experience at Max’s Restaurant - Glendale. The food was absolutely delicious and brought back the authentic flavors of Filipino cuisine. Their famous fried chicken was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. The garlic rice and traditional Filipino dishes were equally impressive and tasted just like home.
We recently had the pleasure of having a private room reserved for my family to celebrate an event. I believe they gave us 15 minutes prior to the event start to really add any final touches but the set-up on the tables were already perfect and nicely laid out. The staff were also all very quick with drinks while some people haven’t arrived inside yet and they served many of the foods efficiently and quickly while tending to any requests.
