Got two gluten free pizzas one Hawaiian one pepperoni. They were very good and clean. Good service and it was quick. Dined outside by the fountain and it was tranquil.“

“We had takeout pizza. I didn't go in my wife did. From the outside, looking in, the place was very nice. It's one of the best I've seen. It looks to have some activities not seen in other establishments. Of course, the pizza was good, too.

“Not sure exactly where to start but this restaurant has some serious customer service issues and that's just one category we were very disappointed in. We ordered online last night to try it out as we saw so many great reviews for the food so we broke from tradition and on my birthday we decided to eat here. All we ordered was a Helen, Cheese Fondue, and the Meatball rigatoni. I received an email stating the food would be ready in about 45 minutes. We left 35 minutes later as it's only up the street from where we live. As we arrive we noticed it's a little corner spot with patrons and appears to be more of a quaint little sit down restaurant and my wife and I thought maybe next time we just come in instead of take out. We stood there for about 2-3 minutes and then guy yells from across the room that he will be with us in a minute. He didn't seem to have anything he was really doing but ok. So finally an older guy comes over and asks us if we have been helped. We told him we were there to pick up our order, and he says he will go check on it. After a few minutes he comes back and says he tried to call us (no record of any missed calls on my phone) and that the rigatoni with meatballs was not available and he wasn't sure how it let us order that online. We don't know either and we definitely know you didn't try calling us to tell us that. Anyways he provided the option for a refund or to make my wife another dish. He mentioned shrimp scampi as the alternative, now the rigatoni was $25 a plate and they didn't even have shrimp scampi on the menu so I was skeptical since usually if they make something good it would be on their menu. So we waited for another 10 minutes for this SCAMpi. I capitalize scam because that's exactly how we felt when they tried to give us this alternative dish and we looked at it. I wish I had taken a picture of what they brought out for $25.... It was literally a small portion of large macaroni noodles, and no more than maybe 6-7 small chunks of shrimp in some greasy sauce that looked totally unseasoned... Gross. I wouldn't feed anything that dish and they should have never tried to replace a main dish like that with something as disappointing as what we received. So I took the container back into the restaurant as we hadn't left the parking lot as I wanted to see first just what they felt was comparable to the $25 we just spent. I found the guy who helped us and just explained that we wanted the refund and the scampi was not acceptable. He said ok and said right after that the refund was already processed. Now to the other food. The pizza was $23 and the cheese fondue was $13. Normally $23 for a pizza isn't crazy, but this was literally the size of a medium if that, and was extremely bare of ingredients. It taste pretty good, but wasnt worth the money at all. I don't eat a lot, and I was able to eat half of this pizza alone without even blinking. The cheese fondue was ok but not memorable. So now today I get up and take a look at my bank account to see if the refund was actually processed, and what do I see? Instead of a refund, I was charged again for that SCAMpi and not actually refunded! I wouldn't dine here again with the lack of customer service, value, and lack of integrity. I will be going back in again to get this straightened out and am not happy about it.“

“Ive been to a lot of mountain mikes and a lot of buffets. This location is by FAR the best one I have ever been to. The service is awesome, the food is top tier, the entire place is spotless clean. Pool tables arcade room beer on tap great seating, awesome room that’s separate from the general dining area for parties. I would highly recommend that if you haven’t been here that you should give it a visit. Perfect for any sports game watching. They have a giant projector that they will put the game on.“

“This is one of those places that you Will be upset of yourself for not having tried sooner. The food is delicious and has a wonderful mix of flavors. We tried several dishes there and I would definitely recommend the masala chicken pizza, because it has a nice general flavor that I think most people were really like and it's a good introduction into curry pizza for someone who never had it before.“

“Having lived in the Chicago area, this is the closest you're going to get to Chicago style pizza without an airline ticket. Their recreation of Giordano-style pizza is on the nose. The Folsom location's interior is looking a little worn and could use a refresh.“

“On, Friday, January 24th we came in as a large party (9 adults, and 10 children) with no reservation for a poorly planned birthday celebration. We came in around 4:30, and were told they didn't have the space to accommodate us right then, BUT they would have their large room available in an hour when the waitress running the room started her shift. I know we were so lucky it was available but I just appreciated so much being accommodated considering our poor planning. In the future we will be sure to make a reservation well in advance. We managed to kill an hour, and when we got back and seated in the large room, we realized quickly it was worth the wait. It's a large room with a door, that we had primarily to ourselves the entire time. Our amazing waitress got an order in quickly for breadsticks (which were so delicious) to keep the hungry kids settled. Which was very appreciated. She was just so patient and kind with our chaotic group. She seemed at ease, was friendly and kept everything organized. The food as always was delicious. Everything was so good. The salads, the wings, the pizzas... everything I've come to love at Old town pizza. My absolute favorite pizza place hands down. Aside from the food being consistently delicious, the service here is excellent. The staff is amazing... from the host to the pick up counter. This was my birthday pick and not only was I beyond happy with the experience, so was everyone in my party. Some were new customers who raved about the food and some had never experienced your sit down service before. Everyone walked away full and happy. I could not have asked for a better experience. I only gave the atmosphere a 2 because it's not the best area, it is quiet at the spot and they do have some outdoor seating. “My all time favorite pizza place. Unfortunately I moved to the Bay Area when I was a teenager so I can only get it when I come over to Sacramento or driving through to auburn or Reno. “I don't know how good the food actually is because I don't eat salad. I would have liked to try their pizza, it looks amazing. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time in my trip and I had too much food already. It would be nice if one of these opened up in Albuquerque New Mexico. I love fancy Pizza. I hope my bf likes the salad. I will update this review once I get a chance to eat the mod cake I bought to take with me on the plane. The lady was very nice and patient when taking my order. Normally they charge for extras but when I couldn't decide what dressing to get, she gave me a cup of each. Normally places nickel and dime you for every topping you get, but not this time. She even gave me special pricing on the salad since they were out of the topping I wanted.
She was so nice and friendly... If I actually lived here- we probably could have been friends.
She went so far above and beyond the normal level of "politely doing my job" that you come to expect from the average customer service.
Also, the tip prompt starts at 3% and caps out at 10% which is very refreshing given how bad everywhere else is.
When your fast food employees already get minimum wage- they don't really need to be tipped at all and the fact that most other places I've been to START at a base of 10 or 15% is ludicrous!
So, that's why I definitely give extra praise for MOD Pizza giving its customers some relief from tipping culture.
That plus how amazing the girl who helped me was- I felt HAPPY to give her a bigger tip.
I do feel kind of bad that I didn't get her name so that I can praise her directly.
Unfortunately I'm not in the habit of paying attention to who works at places.“

“I've now ordered ~6x times from Folsom Pizza and Kabob and feel comfortable enough to finally leave a review. From what I can tell, it's run by this lovely husband+wife duo.

It's not a cheap, but everything I've ordered (pizzas, kabobs, plates) has been delicious and well worth the money spent. I appreciate the blend of traditional (cheese, veggie) and non-traditional (gyro, shwarma) options, and bonus points for halal beef pepperoni.“
