“So, I usually go to my regular mexican place but since they did not answer the phone (not uncommon), I thought I'd try this place out - since it's much much closer ... And I'm so glad I did!! I've tried Nixtacos and hated the food which was bland and super overpriced. My regular mexican place the cilantro is always like frozen and the result is nasty cilantro. One thing that stood out for me about Nikos Tacos is that the onions had a nice crunch and the cilantro was super fresh - the cane asada (to my surprise) was perfectly cooked - not hard and dry, but easy to chew with great flavor! The added cheese and crema at the top which looked excessive when I saw in the pictures actually brought it all together and gave it that salt. Excellent ? tacos and I look forward to trying out other things on their menu! Thank you!“

“Still open just moved to a new spot like a block away so highly recommend to check them on Instagram for updates. Parking space is limited (like 3) so it may be better to park on the side streets and walk to the taco stand. Their Al Pastor is well worth the wait, the horchata, toppings, and sauces are also fantastic. I usually come around 6:30pm since the vendor tends to set up a bit later than usual. Cash only!“

“Maybe the very best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. Our server was so sure of herself, I decided to let her choose my dish. She picked the aioli spicy chicken sandwich (I would have picked a burger). I am glad I did. I was able to enjoy something delightful I may not have ever tried. Definitely a food stop in Folsom. I found it by looking at reviews. Represa Grill had the highest rating and well deserved.“

The people are extremely kind and you can tell the cooks know what they are doing. They keep their stations clean!!! That’s hard to find in street food vendors!! “The food is excellent! I had a chimichanga that was out of this world! The chicken was on point the beans were just mouth-watering. The service was excellent also. The girl behind the counter was sweet and kind spoke English really good. And the cook Omar I had to ask the name, was superb He's cooking was superb. Breakfast burritos are on hit two. Love this place would go back all the time.“

“food is good, but for their hours you think they'd have enough sides seems like they run out of alot so early on plus the tacos are basic, and hardly come with anything on it! cilantro & onions only? They never answer their phone which I don't understand why it's even on the truck. They definitely have some things to improve on, but I will give them another chance seeing that the food is good. “Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The little trailer is only ran by the sole owner so have patience when ordering. Will be coming back soon. 4.8/5.

“We ordered to sample almost all tacos!… I mean we are at a taco bar for gods sake lol… I was surprised that not many people ordered all the tacos all at once! And I was really sad not to see a “sampler” in the menu. The tacos, once ordered together, they do standout! … we suggested to the staff that they do a “sampler” option of 12 tacos or more (and maybe then include the chips and salsa which are not free, but they’re good chips and salsa!) … trying out our version of the sampler was great and I recommend it so that you pick for yourself which ones are your favs!!! I loved the pork belly and the short rib! … Oh and we shared each taco between two of us… so go with someone you don’t mind passing along and sharing the taco with… might not be a good idea for a first date LOL. Cool place.“

“Great food. We ate at their permanent location in Richmond Grove area of Sacramento. Neat and tidy dining area. Food came out quick. Guacamole freshly made. Tortilla chips warm and crisp. Modelo beer w/lime icy cold. Street tacos (chicken, carnitas) were hot and delicious. Will definitely be back!“

“One of the hidden gems of in Citrus Heights probably the best tacos in East Sacramento. The tacos have a nice flavor and are very are very fresh. The tacos costed 1.75 the last time went. They also came with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno on the side. The sauce is also red which is medium hot. There also a liquor to buy the the drinks & snacks you desire.“

“Omg! These tacos are incredible, my roommate and I just had some less than an hour ago. The cabeza and carne asada was low key to die for. You have to try this, they had a cute little buyable out with a table cloth and chairs to sit down. The guy working the truck was so nice, efficient and attentive!“

The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal.One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. “This is the ONLY Mexican food restaurant in the area that matters. It is the closest to ✨authentic✨ in the area… (I’m in Roseville closer to the granite bay side.) The Flautas are usually my go to at any Mexican place and the ones here are perfection. Even the beans and rice are good. Tortas, are bomb. The asada is good, too. But my favorite thing to get here are the breakfast burritos. I will try more to add on to this review but after moving here early 2023, this is the only Mexican place I go to that is worth a damn.“

“Just moved into the area and wanted to see if Betos had a decent breakfast burrito. Well, I was a bit disappointed, to be honest. I was the first customer of the day and had to wait a little while for my food, which was perfectly fine... because it was going to be fresh, right? Potatoes were overcooked and a soggy mess. Bacon was giving yesterday's bacon vibes, and the cheese was barely present as well as the egg. No flavor....no love...sauces also sucked...too much oregano on the red sauce, and why was there even oregano in the green sauce? Idk...but obviously I won't be back. Sorry Betos... $13 for that pathetic excuse for a #24 was crazy work. No, thank you! Lesson learned. Sad to say but Aldalbertos is king of the breakfast burrito in the North Area.“
