“One of the hidden gems of in Citrus Heights probably the best tacos in East Sacramento. The tacos have a nice flavor and are very are very fresh. The tacos costed 1.75 the last time went. They also came with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno on the side. The sauce is also red which is medium hot. There also a liquor to buy the the drinks & snacks you desire.“

“The food was amazing. I ordered some tacos de pastor and holy sh*t they were amazing. Their meets are cooked perfectly and they DO NOT charge for toppings. The people are extremely kind and you can tell the cooks know what they are doing. They keep their stations clean!!! That’s hard to find in street food vendors!! “The only complaint I had was they don’t have a condiment bar! You have to ask for lemon, catsup, or even malt vinegar! All those things come in small quantities, except for the lemon!“

“food is good, but for their hours you think they'd have enough sides seems like they run out of alot so early on plus the tacos are basic, and hardly come with anything on it! cilantro & onions only? They never answer their phone which I don't understand why it's even on the truck. They definitely have some things to improve on, but I will give them another chance seeing that the food is good. “Martin’s Famous Tacos has completely won me over. I was honestly a little skeptical the first time I went, but after they catered an event at my kids’ school, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did because now we stop by at least once a week.

If you go on Thursday, you’re in for a treat. It’s basically birria day! Their quesabirria tacos are fantastic, and the birria burritos are just as good. Their quesadillas are huge, made with fresh flour tortillas, and packed with more meat than most people can handle.

The sides are great too—the rice and beans are always on point. They have fresh radishes available and a salsa bar with plenty of options. The guacamole is excellent. You do have to purchase chips separately, but they offer both traditional corn chips and flour tortilla chips.

They don’t have fountain drinks, but they do carry a wide variety of Mexican sodas and American sodas, and I’m pretty sure they serve beer as well.

What really keeps us coming back, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even when the dining room looks slow, they’re working hard because the place stays busy. You order at the counter, but they bring the food out to your table, check on you, and keep the dining area clean. Customers are encouraged to bus their own tables, which is a small thing considering the great service they provide.

Great food, generous portions, fair prices, and genuinely kind people. Martin’s Famous Tacos has become a regular stop for my family, and I highly recommend giving them a try.“

“It was ok. First of all we went on cinco de mayo fie happy hour. Even asked the server that there is happy hour today. She said yes and we ordered multiple items. When we got the bill it did not reflect happy hour. Then she says there’s no felony hour today there was some glitch. So then the manager came and after a heated discussion he took off the food and we paid only our alcohol“

“Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The little trailer is only ran by the sole owner so have patience when ordering. Will be coming back soon. 4.8/5.

The veggie burrito I ordered was absolutely delicious - packed with fresh veggies, beans, rice, and flavorful sauces. But what really made my experience great was the exceptional service - Carlos, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and that my food was perfect. “I recently dined at this restaurant and came away with a generally positive impression, though there is definitely room for improvement regarding their sushi portions. Right from the start, the overall atmosphere was great; the entire dining area was spotlessly clean, and the service was consistently good and welcoming.

For my meal, I decided to sample a couple of their signature sushi options. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Kamikaze roll. In terms of construction, both rolls suffered from a bit of an imbalance in their ingredients. The Caterpillar roll was filled mostly with cucumber, leaving only very small, sparse bits of eel inside. Similarly, the Kamikaze roll was packed with too much crunchy cucumber, which slightly overwhelmed the spicy tuna mix.

However, despite the rolls being skimped on fish and overloaded with vegetable filler, the quality of the food was still quite high. Every bite was remarkably fresh, clean, and tasty. The flavors are definitely there, and the kitchen clearly uses good components. If the chefs can balance out the ratios to include a bit more seafood and less cucumber, this place would easily earn a top rating from me.“

“It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal.One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. “Its a decent stand, genuinely, the tacos are really well done and they are absolutely delicious! I would honestly recommend getting some lime and taking their avocado salsa to eat them with, really really damn good altogether.

Some notes, if you do want to go in, they only take cash or zelle, so have one of those two ready if you want to buy something.

The portions are also nice, I got 4 tacos for $12, and if you want something else on that menu it generally is within the 10-15 dollar range for an actual meal amount of food. Not a bad price considering what your getting, would fully recommend to anyone who wants some good Mexican food, even over a lot of the other local tacqueria's and Mexican restaurants.“

“Best suadero tacos hands down. There are other taco stands near me but I pass them up to go here. They have different meats and menu options. On Fridays in the winter they sell champurado and in the summer they have fresas and piña drinks. They also have a couple coke or jaritos drink options if themarket is closed. His salsa and hot sauces are good too.“

My order is always a little complex because of my families special diets. However, they got the order right, and I didn't have to explain it over and over. They were fast and friendly.
