“We were redirected to the 101 due to the shutdown of the PCH and stopped for lunch in Gonzales, a very unlikely place for tourists to err... So we ended up in La Plaza bakery for a lunch made of perfectly executed burritos, tacos and tortas, a very helpful staff, delicious bakeries as dessert, all for a very reasonable price, which is always a good suprise in the usually overpriced state of CA. Well done La Plaza and keep up the great work!”

“GREAT FLAVORS
We came once before about a year ago while driving through on a road trip, and we liked it enough to come back and still really enjoyed it. I had the chicken mole and the mole sauce was really good, not too sweet like so many others. The chicken was tender and falling off the bone. My husband got a pastor super burrito and the meat was cooked and good quality (I hate dried out or overly fatty pastor).”

“After new management came the restaurant has really been amazing. The food quality and the customer service has vastly improved.

Parking: There will always be parking available.

Kid-friendliness: The employees are very kind. They were very patient when I let my son order for the first time.

Wheelchair accessibility: I’m handicap but it was no problem getting into the restaurant as there is accessible ramps.”
