“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“To start I am not a big chicken sandwich eater my go to is burgers, but trying to broaden my gut 😎. Got the two sliders with fries. The fries were excellent. Everyone loves crinkle cut fries. The sliders were not too spicy as I asked, and they supplied Plenty of pickles the chicken was a little dry, but I also ordered five minutes before they closed at night. I would expect that they offer the option to get extra sauce, but I did not see that as an option. That is way too bad. They should add it into the app Overall was pretty darn good and I will get it again and try a little more spice And maybe by then, they will have the extra sauce as an option on the app that would be awesome“

I was out in the world longer than I wanted to be and pulled off at the truck stop LATE to see if I could roll up on a cute food truck or a drive thru for some late night vittles. ?Most things were closing or closed. It was too late for doordash or a different service & I had a ways to go before my destination.I pulled up to the Lunch Box & they were still alive! Not only alive, but service with a smile as well! “Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!“

“Ordered the original and sauce combo. Price point was fair. The boneless pieces were the issue, some came a little dry, and saucing consistency was a little uneven. There’s some latitude, given this was a pick up. Pick up was a little slower but not by much. The service area a little marred by the homeless pop around.“

“I was lucky enough to get street parking. I didn’t see a dedicated lot since it was night time. The staff were super nice. This is a chain restaurant, pretty much a similar setup to the other ones I’ve been too. I do wish they had fountain drinks or at least self serve water.
Anyway, the food is good. I just bought to go. They only have a few tables inside, wouldn’t even fit the amount of people I bought for. Cheesling is definitely my favorite flavor. At another location I was able to order it with bone in wings.
I didn’t see a bathroom for customers.“

“This is my first time here and the customer service, quality of food and atmosphere was top notch.
I ordered the double cheeseburger with buffalo wings and both were amazing. The burger was juicy, flavorful and tender.

“These tacos are freaking addictive!! I'll drive from LA for the tacos. Everyone, I highly, recommend this restaurant. It's extremely clean inside. They have a bathroom. And the staff are so courteous and professional.

“GREAT chicken. Very crispy and not too heavy like some others out there. Me and my wife ordered 2 small 8 piece bone-in wings (Original Golden flavor), fries and coleslaw. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. Coleslaw was fresh & not too sweet.

My only two gripes with the food are: 1.the price) A little on the expensive end, as back home (Palmdale) we could get an eight piece combo with fries and a drink for the same price as just an 8 piece wings here alone (Korean place too). All good though, inflation hits everyone. Means we just will come here once in a while. And 2) you can only choose one marinade per wing set. Every wing spot I’ve been to allows you to do 1/2 one flavor and 1/2 another. Pretty standard practice, so I thought that was a little disappointing.

One more thing I should mention about the service: I wish the lady (she was Asian) would have suggested me and my wife share a medium (16 piece). It is cheaper to go that route if you both want the same flavor ($30.99) versus two smalls ($33.98). Would have saved us some money and been a nice gesture, but it’s hard to expect that when someone is running a business. Didn’t realize until after the fact.

Anyways, I’d recommend giving them a shot. Just note the things mentioned above before going, if they matter to you.“

“My whole family loves the food! The Halal chicken is amazing—you can really taste the quality. Just a heads-up, it might be too spicy for some people. The cauliflower dish is so good, but it looks like it’s seasonal, so try it while you can. The workers are all super kind and respectful. they’re fast and very friendly!“

“I was pleasantly supprised by this place. I came in here when i was passing through the area and was feeling a little hungry. While there appeared to be other food options in the area, I decided to give this place a try.I ordered their beef dish with noodles. It was a little pricey and they did charge me a fee for using my card. But when the food finally came, it was really good. Very flavorful and quite a big portion. The meat wasn't all gnarly either, which is always a concern when ordering beef.One thing to keep in mind is that their menu in not that big.They did say that they've been open for about 4 months or so. I hope that this place makes it. There were not a lot of customers in here when I visited. They do seem to be more of a carryout type place though. And I also visited in the morning when it first opened.Overall, this place does have a few minor flaws, but the food is good quality and the portions are pretty large.“

This is a little gem, it is a perfect restaurant for the area. Food was delicious, authentic and atmosphere was comfortable. The service was kind and gracious. Stop and give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

“I come here about three times a week before starting my shift at work (1pm), and I have no complaints about the food or staff, but someone needs to fix how they constructed the parking spaces and drive-thru. During lunch, there's a line for the drive-thru (which is fine. That's what a drive-thru is for), but the line blocks the customers parked in their parking space trying to get out. I paid for my food in the drive-thru lane, but then I couldn't get out due to the horrible placement of this drive-thru.

9/23/24 update: 9 years later, I returned, and I am happy they solved their drive-thru dilemma. Their food is still cooked to perfection and delicious, and their customer service is still excellent. I will be coming here more often.“

“The food is great as always. My only complaint is the lighting in this place. It’s like walking into an overly lit dentist and it wakes you up right away even if you walk in at 10pm. The amount of LED lights is just overwhelming and unwelcoming. Plus the cold stainless steel chairs and tables, it really doesn’t want you to get the food and get the f out of there. “This is one of the best El pollo loco locations as far as I'm concerned. The employees are incredibly friendly and they keep the place very clean. And I just have to say that if you ever get rid of the Double Chicken Power bowls I will cry lol“

“The place is spacious, it has a locked bathroom, you can eat there, the chicken is delicious, parking outside the mall, there is no wheelchair access, there are no games for children, the most important thing...... there is no air conditioning or I don't know if the day I went it wasn't useful“

“They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!
