“Take it for me a girl who grew in the Middle East. This is the best you’ll ever get to a Middle Eastern Shawarma. The food is served fresh made to order and is simply perfect. One Shawarma can feed two people, just a note. Inside can get a bit hot because the kitchen is connected to the inside dining.“

“Only 6 selections available. I see it as a positive. Spicy ramen was the best this far. They ask you for a heat level. I tried 3 through 1 in that order. They were all the same heat level, which was very spicy. Not sure why this is, other than cooks not paying attention. If a one is spicy the five must be ulcer creating hot!!!“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“Stopped by for some sweets on our way home - got three cakes slices and a layered something. All of them were good, and I forgot to take a pic before we devoured them.
The fella there was patient with me while I considered the choices, and put our selections in a pretty box. There were tables and it was well lit with several tables for staying onsite.

Not only that, but she is a wonderful, sweet person that really cares about everyone she meets. “Special Cakes By Ruben - City made the most beautiful cake ever for my son's 1st birthday party. She made a "You are my sunshine" themed cake. Best part is, that she includes a free smash cake!!! It was a bit pricey, but the cake was definitely the hit of the party! I would order from her again.“
