Nice authtentic Japanese spot hidden in close to the city of industry. if you're new to Japanese Food this place offers a lot of home style cooking. They have a lot of ramen and rice dishes to choose from that you don't normally find anywhere else. Like ramen/rice in gravey sauces. Tons of sides to order along with. Place is small so the wait can be a bit much during peak hours.
This was my first time trying foo foo tei. It's located on an off beat road and the parking lot is small and not very level as there were big big puddles from the rain. The restaurant was busy and while we were eating there was a consistent line at the door. They have a large menu offering ramen and rice bowls and side dishes. I ordered tonkotsu ramen which was nice on a cold day. They said it's made of chicken broth and not pork. It was good but honestly not my favorite. Still,...read full review
