Outstanding local spot in the heart of Princeton. If you want to see where the locals go and have some excellent seafood and handmade pasta this is your place. Very reasonably priced and an excellent accessible wine list with all sorts of interesting finds. Our table had the rockfish special and it was outstanding. I added a side of the homemade fettuccine and was over the moon. Their salmon was also spectacular- you wouldn’t think salmon could hold its own next to local catch...
This place gets busy! Reservations are recommended. There's plenty to choose from on the menu - multiple pastas, delicious steak, pizza and more. The parking lot is small but there is street parking. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Ownership/management experience (wisdom) and passion (chefs often say love) for delivering, more than just good food, an exceptional, balanced (not rushed, but also not waiting) dining experience...pleasantly, consistently, is Mezzaluna's hallmark, imho. And the food IS outstanding, again, consistently curated and timed to be exactly what you ordered, beautifully/cleanly plated, and fresh from the kitchen, not left to warm up or cool off before being served.
