“I used to come to this restaurant all the time when I lived in this area and I am currently out here traveling for business and stopped in. It has been 15 years since I have had their carnitas and they are far and away the best carnitas I have found in all my travels, that includes mexico and el salvador. Crispy outer and flavorful inside, Perfect!
For reference I travel both domestically and internationally around 100 nights per year eating all sorts of local foods.”

“I've only tried the breakfast menu but best breakfast burritos in town by far, some other places put way too many potatoes in theirs for my liking. The breakfast enchiladas with chorizo are also really good.”

“Last Friday, we came by to rent a storage unit and ended up staying for a late lunch at CJ's. What a hidden gem in north Chico! It's no frills counter service, with a large dining room, and open kitchen. I appreciate being able to see the clean kitchen & prep area with my own eyes. I ordered a grilled chicken salad - it was huge, overflowing with tons of fresh toppings. The staff was hustling through a rush, and yet they were all so attentive and nice. CJ's is a Pepsi establishment, which makes my Diet Coke loving heart a little sad... but the food more than makes up for it. Now I need to time my storage unit runs around lunch hour so I can work my way through the menu! A burger will be next :)”

“If you love authentic Mexican food this is the SPOT! The staff is amazing and they have so many wonderful options to choose from. Parking is nice for big trucks even if you have a trailer which is nice for us in the construction field. Give this place try, and thank me later!”

“Sitting outdoors is not quite my vibe even with the misters but I absolutely love their pizza, calzones and breadsticks. The only time I was disappointed was when I missed my drumsticks which they corrected at a later date. ? I just recently tried their hamburger pizza and it was absolutely delicious!”

“Papa Murphys located on Eaton Rd is by far the best location in town. I have tryed them all and I'll just say this women runs her business right. Always fresh never short on toppings. And great customer service. Always a great team working there. I drive all the way across town past 2 other locations to get my pizza from the Raton location.”

“Fresh twisted cafe is an interesting place. They have lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options. We got a burger and were disappointed with the 1/4 lb patty on a 17$ burger. I was also bummed that a place that advertises gluten free has breaded fries only.
My cappuccino was great, and my wife loved her turmeric juice.
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the menu setup was a bit eclectic.
There are some interesting pictures on the walls which I enjoyed.”
