“My new favorite breakfast spot. Came here due to the fire and smoke in Boyle Heights. Best decision of 2026. We order the House Breafast, Supreme Waffle, French toast and breakfast burrito. My boys love the French toast and waffle. The breakfast burrito and house breakfast was amazing. Everything tasted super fresh. We also order a green apple juice and latte which didn't disappoint. Plenty of parking on the side street. It's rated 4.9 for a reason. I will be back!“

“I loved my experience at Pur Bowls! You can completely customize your acai bowl, which I really liked. I chose an acai base with two kinds of granola and lots of fresh fruit — the toppings are pretty much unlimited! I also added almond butter on top, and it was delicious. Everything tasted super fresh, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The shop looks clean, modern, and nicely renovated — it feels brand new. It’s also connected to a Vietnamese restaurant next door, which is kind of interesting! I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area too. Highly recommend!“

“Never been to this venue of Oakberry Acai before, gotta say loving the vibe and it certainly suits Venice/Abbott Kinney really well! Parking can be tricky, but well-lit venue with slow ambiance are just perfect match.

The menu offered are obviously similar to other outlets and pre-order is also available, making life easier and more efficient.

I got pre-ordered my new favorite of the menu, matcha-acai mix but I thought this time they might have gotten mixed-up and only had acai base for my order. Probably because I added matcha chia seeds. My bad that I didn’t check until getting home.

“PLEASE EXPAND TO ARIZONA (Phoenix or Scottsdale would be perfect!) 😭 you would do so good out here- there’s no unlimited topping açaí place out here and none of the açaí is half as good as yours and no one has as many options! This is a must stop when I go back to Redondo to visit. I love the base flavor choices and the toppings, highly recommend layering flavors and adding the chia pudding!! “I had such an amazing experience at Ubatuba Açaí! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and vibrant. The space itself is beautiful, super colorful, lively, and just one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect whether you want to sit inside and relax or enjoy the fresh air outside.

Alfred, who helped us, was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to explain how everything works and walked us through all the base options they offer beyond just açaí, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the traditional açaí bowl with strawberries, peanut butter, toasted coconut, and paçoca. And as a Brazilian who truly loves açaí, I can confidently say it was a 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Every bite was perfect and I enjoyed it so much.

I also tried one of their empanadas, they have a great variety to choose from and I went with the cheeseburger one. It was amazing, super flavorful, and paired with the chimichurri sauce, it had the perfect finishing touch.

I left feeling happy and completely satisfied. It’s the kind of place that gives you a great overall experience, not just good food. I honestly can’t wait to come back for more!“

So that's maybe the optimal average time for a single acai bowl to be crafted by the fine artists that are employed by the owners of this fine establishment. The young lady that was working on this day, rang me up at 4:04 PM, was very professional, efficient, and very delightful to interact with. This establishment is clean and nicely lit inside, not too bright.

Oakberry also offers Acai Buckets (32oz) which you don't see very often. Bowls and smoothies come in similar cups - though smoothies naturally cost less. “Straw & Spoon on Artesia is a great spot to meet up with friends for boba or açaí in Redondo Beach. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with two swing chairs inside and Edison bulb string lights & blue sails over the tables outside. It was very clean, and the staff were super friendly. You can either order from a screen or directly with the cashier, which I recommend if it’s your first time or if you have questions. They have a restroom for customers, and there is also free parking in the connected lot, and I appreciate that convenience.

I asked if they have any drinks without syrups/sugar, and they recommended their iced tea. I went with the Four Season Iced Green Tea with no sugar & regular ice, and since it is a boba spot I added the Lychee Coconut Jellies. The jellies went perfectly with the iced green tea, and it was a balanced and refreshing beverage, with hints of rose and a delightful lychee flavor and even a similar lychee texture. I also enjoyed the quality of their plastic cups and selection of large colorful straws - you get to select your favorite color.

They let us eat our sushi from Yanagi Kitchen in the plaza along with our boba drinks, and it was a perfect combo. I will definitely be back!“
