“So good!!!!! Best Açaí bowls ever! My fav is the Aloha bowl. Juices are always fresh and full of flavor. We even tried a breakfast wrap & it was good. Call your order ahead once you get to know what you like & it's so much easier!“
“I had an amazing experience this morning at yogurtland located in Downey. So amazing that it motivated me to leave a review, my amazing experience wouldn’t have been possible without Alexandro (front cashier) he was very helpful and genuine. Will definitely be coming back!“
“Love to eat here and it’s such a fun and friendly atmosphere. I come here every week! But i wish there was more clarity on what is completely vegan (topping-wise) im always told something different and its like playing russian rouletteDietary restrictions: Clarification on VEGAN items. Signs or something“
“100% Plant Based! It is AMAZING to have a vegan place like this in the area. Quality food, SUPER Fresh! The owner of the place is super nice and the vibes inside are great! 10/10 and the prices are also super fair with large portions. If you have not been here you need to check it out! Ive been a few times now and am always impressed!“
“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“
“Best location in town for acai bowls and smoothies!!! Highly recommend Veranos!! I can’t get enough of the #25 with a scoop of vanilla protein !Dietary restrictions: Very macro friendlyParking: Can get tough with parking just because it’s shared with other businesses. The times I’ve gone I was able to find parking with no problem at all“
“Delicious, refreshing, and great customer service! Since moving to the area, we tried Açaí Republic randomly one weekend trying for a healthier breakfast alternative. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and fun, the customer service is wonderful every time, and the açaí bowls are absolutely delicious. Oh and the pastries too! Definitely recommend trying it out!“
“A trendy, modern coffee and food spot with limited parking. The coffee is above average, but not my favorite. The food is good, but be prepared to wait a while as their kitchen is tiny. Their indoor seating has a cool minimal aesthetic. They also have some outdoor seating but it's been full literally every time I've been here. Worth stopping, but I wouldn't go out of your way.“
“Blue Bowl Superfoods is great! There are numerous options for acai bases and toppings. A plus is that your total isn't dependent on the number of toppings you choose but on the size of your bowl. Every time I go to Long Beach, I always look forward to indulging in acai bowls from here. The service is average. Employees are fairly friendly. The ambiance is nice. It's located inside a big food court, so it's usually busy.Overall, this place is delightful and I would recommend coming here.“
“We walked in and we were created by the owner. The store has plenty of activities to keep children and adults like entertained. My daughtereven made friends while we waited! We ordered smoothies the tropical smoothie was sooo yummy. My toddler got the nana smoothie and all she could say in the ride home was Mom try some of mine...it's soo good! GREAT DRINKS GREAT ATMOSPHERE GREAT OWNER!“
“This is a great place in the Japanese Village to get refresher that is healthy and tastes amazing without all the sugar additives. It's my go to place when I'm in Little Tokyo when I want a fresh, healthy and ice cold juice.Although they don't have a dine in area, they do have outdoor seating which is nice when you need to sit back and take in the people watching and decide on what store or restaurant you'll go to next.“
“I love coming here for my açaí bowl fix! The service is always very quick and the staff is friendly. I haven't tried very much açaí shops but this place is by far my favorite. I got the build your own and didn't want toppings so the worker offered more fruits. The places I've been to the past have never offered me more fruits to substitute the lack of toppings, so I really appreciated that.“
“Flex protein house is such a hidden gem. I'm so happy I decided to try it out. They have so many options much more than what I thought because I went in for a meal replacement shake, but they have electrolyte drinks. They have pre-workout drinks they have post workout drinks they have during workout drinks they have Meal replacement detox shots they have refreshers they even have protein donuts, which were so delicious. The inside is a very nice upscale lounge vibe with tables, chairs, and inside that mini basketball game. Overall, the vibes were great and I will definitely be coming back.!“
“I'm updating my review because Koolberry immediately replied with a kind explanation and offer. I will definitely be taking advantage of their new 20% off Tuesdays, as they explained their new hours for the slower season. Please everyone GO HERE!! We need this gem to stay in our neighborhood. ........Kind of annoyed. Last time I went to @koolberryx a few weeks ago I was so happy when the young lady working told me that every Monday they do 20% off. Yayyy... I made a mental note and vowed to come back every Monday I was in town, which is about every other Monday. Went today only to see they were closed. I hadn't been on Yelp to see they had changed their hours a few days ago. Signage outside still indicates they would be open. Disappointed there aren't other açaí bowl options nearby. (If you know of one tell me!) The only thing else that satisfies a craving is a fruit/ vegetable juice, like Juice Lab, but they are also closed for a "remodel". Bixby knolls needs more options like this. I hope both places stay open for the long term, but the change in hours makes me nervous.“
“I love sugar cane & I am very open to trying new places with new flavors.I was in the Cerritos Area having dinner with my little family. I came across this place called Vita Cane. My daughter & I wanted to try their drinks. This shop is new & it's located in a strip mall near the other food & drink places. It's near Sprouts if you have a difficult time finding it. Vita Cane services healthier alternatives for rehydration. I chose the Mojito Orange Bang & my daughter chose the Coco Melon. As I took a few sips of the Mojito Orange Bang, it tasted very similar to this fruit called Calamansi. The drink itself was sweet & a little sour, but very refreshing. I want to try their Lemon Berry Berry cane & the Fire Dragon. The staff were so sweet & friendly. The ambiance was very vibrant. There is a giant mural & bright LED signs inside the shop. Bathrooms are clean as well.“
“So glad I found this location! * near IKEA - so I'll grab this and walk around IKEA* fresh options * various choices of base and chia seed puddings* reasonable price* my kids love it I wish this place was closer to my home because I would come here dailyThey have three sizes and a menu to pick from 1. Size 2. Base : they have 6 choices3. Add chia pudding4. Fruit5. Granola6. Toppings My two kids devoured one small Amazon acai bowl.“
“The place was very clean and the service was very quick. Being my first time their the workers were patient with me and answered my questions regarding the build your own bowl process, I'm used to ordering, and it already having its own chosen ingredients and toppings.I can't wait to be in the area to have a reason to return.“
“The best acai bowls! I love that they have options for the base like coconut cream and a pineapple blend. They are generous with the toppings which are super fresh. You can even choose from different types of granola, seeds and such. If you get their app you can order and earn points. You may as well, because you'll definitely return!“
“I've came here so many times now, I'm surprised it took me this long to write a review. I just wanted to say I appreciate the consistent quality that Berry Brand offers. Their bowls are always fresh, portions the same, and always great flavors. Price remains pretty competitive as well, all things considered. I can definitely appreciate the innovative acai bases they put on the menu from time to time. Lately I'm definitely a fan of the PANDAN flavor. My usual go to is: -base: Acai, Ube -chia: Vanilla Chia -fruit: blueberry, strawberry -toppings: go crazy (lol people may hate me, but I love putting a ton of espresso powder on my bowl) Service is friendly and quick as usual. Definitely one of my favorite local spots to grab and go acai (pro tip: order ahead)!“
“My first visit to a movita was here I got wellness shots and it was great definitely help me get better and feel better. Overall the best one I’ve been to answered all my questions and really did help me choose the best one for me. Thank you girls!“
“My smoothie was very interesting! And well blended! I got a large lime, kiwi, pineapple, peach smoothie & I added ginseng (a traditional Chinese herbal supplement for energy & cognitive focus), chia seeds (obviously, very well-blended too), and soy protein powder (can't even taste it) The order was only $8.85 before tip. 1 free protein (chia) plus $0.45 for ginseng & $0.45 for soy protein. No bathrooms unfortunately A guy came in & asked for a cup of water but they said they charge for it There is a table where you can sit and hang out but I couldn't locate any outlets so not really ideal for studying Smoothie was amazing though, it was nice to try something new compared to Robeks & Jamba Juice A million bajillion parking spots in the lot, part of a major business strip center Thanks guys!“
“I used to take my son & his baseball team here after games at least 1-2 a week. Now I only come occasionally but it still hits the spot. We never leave disappointed. It's a very nice restaurant inside. Long benches & nicely spaced. They have lots of topping options. I love that they have models of fully prepped shaved ice loaded with toppings & pictures on the menu so you can visualize & choose the right size to order. Service is also very good- workers are always attentive.“
“First time experiencing this cool little spot and man they were poppin’ at 9am on a Saturday morning! We pre-ordered since we were heading up to the area to bid a job. Ordering was easy, they ran just a bit behind (10 mins) and man, they were so friendly and apologetic about it! Suuuper kind folks in there! Smoothie was delicious and the wrap was really good! We will be back!“
“One of my must stop when I visit socal. I always order the large size 'ants on a log'. It's consistently fresh and tasty. I wish NorCal had this store. Everything on the menu looks good but I'm so obsessed with 'ants on a log' that I haven't tried anything else.“
“The nektar in Whittier Groves service are excellent. They already know and recognize me as a frequent costumer. The split container of the protein bowl is just perfect. Not too sweet for me. The flavors went well. Even the AB health nut that I often order is consistently amazing smoothie. Thank you and will keep coming back to order.“
“Every visit to Cream and Sugar Café is a delightful experience that tantalizes the taste buds and pleases the eyes. My go-to order of banana, peanut butter, honey, and Chia seed toast paired with a large Matcha latte sweetened with agave is nothing short of exceptional. But the cherry on top of this already delightful cake? The young barista, a modern-day Adonis, whose charm and mastery with the Matcha whisk add an extra layer of appeal to the already vibrant atmosphere. His presence turns a simple café visit into a brush with classical mythology, making each visit to Cream and Sugar Café a uniquely enchanting experience.“
“This place is a good alternative to fast food places where most thing are fried. Service is friendly and can slow down during peak hours. Even then the wait is reasonable. It's in a little shopping strip with parking there or on the street, and is pretty easy to get to.“
