Marley's Treats is a small bakery and ice cream shop in the SF East Bay (Hayward) area, with a focus on ube-flavored offerings. The cozy interior has no seating, but customers can sample the various flavors, which include an ube cookies and cream milkshake, ube ice cream, and ube cupcakes. The ube-based items were generally well-received, with the ube being described as having a "distinct" and delicious flavor. The ube cheesecake topped with leche flan, ube crinkle stuffed with leche flan, and ube pandesal stuffed with leche flan were all praised, with the leche flan being the "star" of the bakery. The ube flan cheesecake, ube flan milkshake and the ube crinkle Cooke filled with flan all had the beautiful purple ube, but the winner had to be the ube flan cheesecake. The texture and flavor was on point. For wedding dessert tables, guests went feral for their Ube Flan!! There will not be any leftover. Prices were considered reasonable, averaging around $4 per item. The service was quick and sweet. Everyone get here before you miss out!!!
