I stopped in at Sourdough sandwich shop for the first time. I had a Italian flatbread pizza and it was scrumptious. great service, clean establishment and really nice experience
Five stars! I visited Sourdough & Co. in Hayward today, August 23, 2026, at around 3:00 p.m. The team working at that time was honestly one of the best teams I have encountered in a very long time. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. Their wonderful customer service made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed.

Food was soooo good! We got a variety of their salads, flatbreads, and sandwiches, and all tasted great. Only downside was that the menu is difficult to read :/ but otherwise loved it! I got the southwest salad

Sourdough & Co. in Hayward offers a variety of salads, flatbreads, and sandwiches. The smoked brisket sandwich and a cookie were absolutely amazing and delicious. The southwest salad and chicken Caesar salad were also enjoyed, with one customer calling the chicken Caesar salad the best salad ever and describing the salads as A1. The food quality was very good overall. The restaurant was very clean, and the team was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming, providing wonderful customer service and outstanding service that made customers feel completely comfortable and relaxed. However, some open tables were not cleaned and the floor and seats had debris. Staff finished their conversation with each other before acknowledging customers. One customer found the menu difficult to read. Another noted that a sandwich with only mayo also came with cheese, tomato, and lettuce. Too much sandwich spread made a sandwich wet and falling apart. The Clam Chowder and Mac&Cheese were considered way too expensive for the small amount served.
