Acorn Cafe is a regular weekend spot for many, considered absolutely perfect with exceptional and delicious food. The menu offers healthy options like the popular plaza plate where you choose your own meat and bread, avocado toast, hot cakes, Shamshuka, açai bowl, huevos rancheros, and a holiday turkey and Brie sandwich. The taste, presentation, portions, and service are consistently praised as a 10/10, all at a reasonable price. The atmosphere has a comfortable modern vibe. Staff are very nice, attentive, and friendly, providing amazingly quick service and a warm welcome. They work well with substitutions. Some notes are that the incredibly good Shakshuka is heavily seasoned with cilantro, and a request has been made for almond butter. Overall, it is a great place to eat where they have nailed it and set the bar high.
