In the past Zazu has served the very best BLT sandwiches here that I ever had. So, I was disappointed when it did not return. However, I learned last week that they are back for a short while.... Serving their famous sandwiches until "the tomatoes run out". Along with their infamous bacon inside a pumpkin seed crust light sourdough toasted bread. We just had a REALLY GREAT lunch at Zazu on The River in Healdsburg, located at Davis Family Winery. Set in a delightful organic garden right on The Russian River. We had the Black Pig Bacon and Heirloom tomato BLT and it was absolutely AMAZING! I love BLT's and this was by far the best one I've ever had. We also tried the peach pie and it was out of this world, melt in your mouth delicious! You have to go here!!!

Had brunch there and it was delicious! Bloody Mary's with fresh made tomato juice. An experience I had never had before. Delicious with their infamous bacon, pickled shallot and olive garnish. Didn't think it could get any better until my arugula, asparagus, feta salad arrived with an egg on top. Absolutely delicious! Great experience.
