“My wife and I went there for the first time for dinner and we ate in the main dining room which is only 3 tables! It was dark and moody with excellent jazzy Christmas music. Our server, Denzel, was the right amount of attentive, the food was super tasty and well prepared. We will be back. We want to definitely try the weekend brunch.“

“Totally worth the drive to fish and see Barbara when they open for lunch.. Barbara is totally awesome. Cash only don't worry. There is ATM in the back. Large food and alcohol selection. We had no problems finding a seat on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of amazing outside seating looking at the lake. Side note my friend comes here occasionally and fishes on the straight. He took me here today and we almost caught a Sturgeon together.“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... “Perfect hometown style restaurant with diner vibes and great food. The service is quick, the food is incredible, and the biscuits are top tier.

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

“I appreciate when a restaurant gives you a reasonable amount of food on your plate. My breakfast was the right size to feel satiated and not overly full. The potato wedges were well cooked and tasty. Coffee is self serve, so no worries about cups being empty. It's a bit small inside, so seating might be an issue if they are busy. Definitely a great breakfast place“

From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... THIS PLACE ROCKS! I may regret telling people how awesome this place is but it needs to be recognized. We are picky. This is only my 2nd review...EVER. Thank you, 709 <3 Joel and Heather“

“My husband and I were here on the first day that they opened. Unfortunately, they had to close their doors that night because that was the day the random power outages started. Ever since that day, we've been hooked with this place. They understand about vegetarians needs. They have one of the best vegetarian options ive seen for burgers.
