Los Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant & Breakfast Spot is a hidden gem in the High Desert. The owners have done the place justice. The Birria is great, especially the bowls en su jugo. The surf and turf burrito is amazing. The chilaquiles are unassumingly great, nothing special to them just a great basic dish done great; the green is great, and the red is great too. The carne asada plate is flavorful, spicy, and filling. The tilapia is good with a loved green salsa, and the fish tacos are good and seasoned just right, with good bean and rice. The green Chilaquiles are one of the best tasted in the high desert. Prices are extremely reasonable. Service is always great, with nice ladies who work there and excellent customer service. The owner was very nice, professional, and fixed a problem. Decorations are liked, with live plants, other colorful decorations, and overall cleanliness making for a very pleasant atmosphere. However, the TV is always way too loud, the place is a little dilapidated, and the establishment doesn’t seem to have a working A/C, which could be a problem for others, so ordering to-go is encouraged.
