The burger and fries are amazing, and it definitely beats driving to Modesto or Turlock for a burger fix. I love this truck and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.“

“Solid spot! After working all night and wanting a breakfast burrito while working out of town and staying in Turlock. I found this spot. Ordered a Machaca burrito and an Al Pastor tacosl. Burrito was big and very tasty. The $5 Al Pastor tacos was delicious and the meat was browned up perfectly on the flat top. I wouldn't hesitate to come back just for the tacos next time. The salsa's I tried were ok and a little different than most other taco spots. The chunky hot salsa was the best of the three I tried.“

“Bought: 3 tacos asada, no onions, no cilantro (yes, I know... blasphemy!) Short Version: "Par" tacos that improved to "good" after applying lemon, for good price. Long Review: Tortillas on the tacos are on the smaller side of normal, doubled up as usual, and has a corn-ier flavor. Meat is finely chopped, and tastes alright on its own, with occasional chunks of fat blended in (which could be a plus or a minus, depending on your tastes. See picture). Sauce on its own is alright, and moderately spicey. The portion is a dollup in the middle (see picture). I feel like the tacos with more sauce were better, so I'm inclined to suggest to the owner to slightly increase the amount on the tacos. However, it would also make them a bit spicier, so might turn off more sensitive customers. (Keep in mind, this is without cilantro or onions) On my first taco, I tried it unaltered and had nothing particularly positive or negative to say. It was ok, if a bit on the bland side for what I would expect. For my second taco, I grabbed a slightly saucier one and this time generously applied lemon to it. This taco was much better, really livened it up. I still am not sure I would put it at the best of the best, but for $1.50, I was pretty happy. For the third, I added the jalapeno into the mix, and liked the additional kick, but it had less of the lemon juice (used much on #2) and salsa, and that flavor didn't come out quite as much. Overall, about even with #2. Two lemons would have been a good idea. Service was part, although truck operator (owner?) acted a little odd (anxious? Confused? Suspicious?) About me taking pictures and such. Seemed ok after I explained it was for Google. I didn't use the radishes. No comment on any other menu items (burritos, quesadillas, etc), because I didn't buy them.“

The owners are very friendly, bilingual, and treat their customers well, from service (which, especially for me, as a fellow vendor who is busy with the work inherent in making a profit at the salesyard and truly doesn't have much of an interval open during the majority of the day to peruse the promenade, as it were, in order to be fed and still get back to my spot so as to make some "bread" for myself without losing too much time attending the selling spot. I've had a few times now since I've been able to talk to the owners where I may not even need to order, simply talking with the chef beforehand while he sets up the tables and pays attention to the details of presentation and preparation, a slow bit of the day for him but a rush for my sales, and voilà, along about the mid day shift in the crowds composition between buyers in the AM and eaters in the PM, I will suddenly hear a friendly greeting of "Hey, Amigo." only to find that I've being GIVEN a substantial amount of delicious stuff along with the peppers the chile as well as all the other accoutrements, oftentimes without any idea that they were actually treating me to a meal, gratis.) So yeah they got service down no problem. They're prompt too when you order the food. It's often not long before you are already digging in... even when it's busy.And as I said before, there's a variety of choices for a bite, but I'm not only recommending this place, but am also VERY grateful for the help of a meal for a man such as myself, eeking out a living from the margins of society. “Our first visit at Mariachis did not disappoint us at all, rather it exceeded our expectations. As soon as we entered we were greeted by friendly staff, and we were given a huge basket of fresh tortilla chips with two dishes of homemade salsa while we figured out our orders. We ordered a classic margarita and two tacos. The tacos had a lot of flavor and they were huge. The margarita tasted fresh, and was balanced perfectly. Plus Mariachis has a great atmosphere that every Mexican restaurant should model after. AST was our end of the night caterer (Wedding on 12/21/24, for reference). We chose to have the food dropped off & set it up in buffet style. There were no unhappy guests & bonus, what we took home, we enjoyed the next night! As a matter of fact, we had some leftover quesadillas (don't know how that happened), so we froze them & later threw into an air fryer & OMG it was amazing. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend.
