“My boyfriend and I came to try the chicken kebab plate. The chicken was so delicious. It was so tasteful. The salad had the perfect lemon taste, and it was to die for! The hummus with the pita bread was also really, really good, I highly recommend this place 10 out of 10. Service was great as well!“

“Very good food. I don't know too much about lebanese food to compare but it's very savory. I had some lamb chops and they were delicious. The presentation was very nice as well. The place was nice and cozy and had a middle eastern feel to it which is nice. I would definitely go back for those lamb chops and try some other dishes as well.“

“Skaf’s on York truly feels like home every time I visit. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Their food blends traditional Lebanese flavors with a fresh, modern twist, and everything on the menu is consistently delicious.

I never know what to order because their dishes never disappoint. When I’m craving that classic home-style comfort, I go for the fattoush salad with rice and shawarma — and of course, the warm pita bread and creamy hummus are a must. If I’m in the mood to try a little bit of everything, I pick a few of their sides. Their cheese rolls are amazing! And on days when I want something simple yet still full of flavor, the lentil soup is always perfect.

Just writing this review is making me excited for my next meal there. Highly recommend Skaf’s on York for anyone who enjoys delicious, authentic food served in a warm and inviting setting!“

“TABL M is exactly what DTLA needs more of!! It’s a total hidden gem where the owners treat you like family the moment you walk in. There’s a genuine sense of community here where fellow guests actually strike up conversations with one another! We tried the shish taouk, muhammara, and batenjein mekleh, and every bite was incredible. You can really taste the high quality of the ingredients - it’s clear the food is prepared with a lot of thought and love, can’t recommend it enough!!“

“On my first visit, I was welcomed by Salim (the owner) with a friendly handshake. I tried the combo kabobs, and the quality of the ingredients stood out immediately. The kabobs were tender and oozing with juice, with just the right amount of char and smokiness to bring out their depth and flavor. The salad was crisp and very watery. The hummus was light, silky, and delicate without too much seasoning. I also liked how the rice was light — not too salty or buttery like some places.

My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and not overly sweet. Everything felt intentionally flavored to offer impact without that heavy, overwhelming feeling afterward. After a hearty meal, I felt light and satisfied. Really happy with this spontaneous find, and I’ll definitely be back to complete their entire menu.“

Came here on a suggestion from a friend who's very sensitive to gluten. She could literally eat anything on the menu she was overwhelmed for the first time in ages!

Reasonably priced considering the food and atmosphere.

Food was excellent, the garlic bread was incredible!

I got the chicken and beef shawarma plate as a main dish. I loved the chicken it was juicy and flavorful. The shawarma, was a little over done on the spices but the meat was insanely tender.

We also had the garlic sauce, only get that if you love garlic otherwise it'll be too much.

For dessert I got their huge cookie which was really good!

I don't usually like gluten free food, but this spot nailed it perfectly, would recommend even to non gluten folks.

Atmosphere is beautiful, it definitely feels like you're somewhere else once you're inside or even in their outdoor area.

Staff was very friendly and more than helpful!

“Came to Carousel with a party of 9. Our table was waiting on arrival and the staff was fantastic especially given our time constraints. We let them know we had to be out the door in 90 minutes for a show and they ensured we were fed a feast with time to spare. We did the family style - Hollywood Feast which was a lot of fun. The Hollywood Feast will leave you with days of leftovers which we are now enjoying. Would recommend family style for large groups. All the food was great, everyone agreed the chicken stood out as superb, very juicy and tender. Definitely coming back.“

“I've eaten here twice now. First time ran in and ordered a Falafel with Hummus and Tabuleh. It was so delcious - some of the best I have ever had. Came back for lunch with mu huband for lunch and he had a Schwarma salad. It was also delicious. The garlic sauce and home made bread served with salad was amazing. Will go back again and even go out of my way to enjoy this specail little spot.“
