Shirley Brasserie Reviews
friendly atmosphere and great service my water cup it was never empty, food very well made fresh 😋 on point, nice and clean well maintained , definitely worth and delicious. will come back
Everything was perfect, the service and food were excellent. The bread and pizza butter - wow! Skirt steak - excellent. My only complaint was the music, it was really loud and didn't really match the vibe of the decor. Otherwise really fantastic!! Highly recommend.
We reserved an early seating 5:00pm--lovely. Quiet, beautiful setting. The menu should appeal to those who are selective--key word "curate"---this menu has been designed for pleasure, subtlety and surprise. Portions are presented for individual or shared dining. The bar is complete, save for draft beers--a very small take away. It is possible to relax, visit, dine and catch a 7:00pm show. The Roosevelt is on its way back--within the main building, the Gable is its vanguard.
Shirley Brasserie is a restaurant located in a classic Hollywood space, now updated and better than ever. The food served is excellent and richly flavored. The appetizers are creative and beautifully prepared. The service is friendly and natural, making diners feel welcome and well taken care of. The restaurant is located in a hotel with a nostalgic atmosphere and interesting history. Other menu recommendations include the Beef Bolognese, calamari, oysters, and escargot. The staff are attentive and receptive to customers' needs, contributing to a wonderful dining experience. The great management of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. Overall, Shirley Brasserie offers a top-notch dining experience in a memorable and nostalgic setting. The Fried Chicken & Champagne special is perfect, an big enough portion for two to share. Everything was delish. The space is spacious and lux. The atmosphere is modern and chic however the hotel lobby is old Hollywood charm. The vibe is chill along with the cool staff. Everyone seemed happy about their jobs even the hostess was fun and cheery. The chicken liver mousse was generously served in a glass mason jar and additional sourdough was available at request. The Shirley Salad was so refreshing, the French Onion Soup was rich and delicious, the hand cut fries were absolutely amazing, salmon was cooked perfectly, the mushrooms paired nicely and last but not least the pear tart was the perfect finishing touch. The food was all delicious from the mashed potatoes to the veggies and chicken. Also the drinks were amazing.
