“I've been visiting this spot since they opened. Their food is delicious, well-made, and of course. Healthy. I get different variations of the avocado toast along with the healthy veggies sandwich. I absolutely love their almond butter smoothie. Their natural juices are also tasty. My boyfriend loves ordering chicken and turkey sandwiches from here, as well. The service is attentive and very polite. No complaints. The owner is sometimes at the shop, and he's very knowledgeable on any of the food items. The tables are always clean. I also like that they play so jazz and pop music to add character to the ambiance. Definitely a 5/5 star rating. “We ate here multiple times while staying at the hotel. Price was comparable to other restaurants in the area (so, expensive, but what you get in the area). Kids loved the character pancakes for breakfast. Everything I ate there was good (breakfast burrito and pulled pork sandwich especially). Portion sizes were filling. Not huge, but not skimpy either. Like that it opened early at 6:30, too. Good for getting breakfast before going to theme parks.“
“We go to the Balboa Pier often on our walks but had yet to visit Balboa Lily's. What a treat and the servers were great. We ordered a breakfast burrito, omelet, and two coffee drinks. Then of course my husband got a biz call that he HAD to take and it lasted over 20 minutes. Our sweet server brought him a fresh new hot coffee and offered to heat up his eggs! My burrito had CHORIZO in it and no potatoes so SCORE on that dish! We will go back again - forget boring Wilmas and the VI (Village Inn.)“
“Enjoyed a side of breakfast sausages and bacon. Sausages were a good size and had a little spice/pepper... Just the right amount. Bacon was crispy & nice and salty.Ordered both at the aMuse restaurant inside the Marriott, but cost wise it's better to pay for the buffet (which is in a separate room). The only downside for the buffet is the sausage/bacon/ham rotates each day.Nice service, clean and bright space.“
“Bistro 4000 is conveniently located at the bottom of our work building. I love their breakfasts especially the breakfast burritos. I love their side menu in the morning I get sausages and breakfast potatoes, the seasoning is always perfect for my taste. They also have steel cut oatmeal. My favorite is the yogurt parfait. Yum“
“We stayed here for two nights and the hotel exceeded my expectations. We have stayed in lots of hotels across America and have learned never to trust the photos so we are always nervous about what we might find once we check in. We booked a king room and the room was very large with a comfy couch and tv. The room was really clean and had everything we needed, mini fridge, lots of power points and hot showers. The area seemed very safe and there is plenty of car parking. The hotel is only 15mins from the beach.“
“This is a great neighborhood gem. The menu is consistent if not adventurous. I've tried most things on the menu. My favorites are the veal Gorgonzola or veal Carciofi, and Braciola Neapolitana, thin sliced beef stuffed and rolled. Before your meal bread is served with a flavorful chimichuri sauce. There is a wine bar for more relaxed dining with music or the more formal restaurant side. The full menu is offered on both sides. The service is outstanding. If you want your “Cheers” moment, they remember your name when you come in.“
