1st time here. Service was good. Onionrings & fries were good & hot. Sampled clam chowder. It was fantastic. Ordered shrimp & calamari. Shrimp was very good. Calamari was probably the worst I have ever had. Very tough. Almost like it had been reheated.

Cooks don’t know how to cook propet& menu items are a no brainer! The service was slow but my server was very nice. Typical sports bar. I’d still go back.

I really debated whether to write this because I hate leaving a negative review, especially for a restaurant that’s been open for 23 years. I know it takes a lot to keep a business running that long, and I truly wanted to have a great experience. But I think it’s only fair to share what happened so management is aware and can hopefully improve things for future guests.

I came in with my 10-year-old, and when we arrived, the waitress told us it was open seating, so we sat down. Before I could even place an order, she asked for my debit card to be placed on file. I already felt a type of way when she mentioned it, since I wasn’t sitting at the bar and had never been asked to do that before ordering. She explained it was because “we have a lot of runners who like sitting in this part of the restaurant” and that some people have left without paying. I understand the concern, but at that point, it made me feel like I wasn’t welcomed or trusted as a paying customer.

After about 35 minutes, our food came out — in to-go boxes. The waitress said, “I don’t know why they did that, but enjoy!” I was in shock that my food was brought out in to-go containers. I felt a bit offended and tried not to make a big deal about it in front of my daughter, but at that point, I no longer felt comfortable.Then when I asked for condiments, it was also brought in a to-go container. It honestly felt like we weren’t welcomed to dine in.

She never once came back to my table to check if we needed anything else- I came to her- she was constantly coming to the section to my left. By this point I’m ready to leave this place. Before I did, I asked the other guests seated in my section if they had to leave a card before ordering, and they said only after. That inconsistency in attention made me feel even more overlooked and unwelcome.
I requested to speak with management, but there was no availability at the time. The waitress first directed me to the bar manager, who was nowhere to be found, and then to the outside manager, who she spoke to for about five minutes before returning. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable discussing my concerns since I wasn’t sure what had been said — and the waitress still didn’t know what my complaint was going to be.
The food itself was pretty basic — nothing special — and the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I hope management looks into the consistency of service and how concerns are handled so that all customers — especially families — feel comfortable and welcomed when dining in.

Everyone seemed to enjoy their job. Very friendly when I came in. Seated promptly. Food was served quick as well. Fair price for the portion. I went back on my second day of visiting to watch the baseball game

Great service. Anna, Katie, and leela were excellent hostesses. The burgers were amazing and the drinks were made to perfection. The vibe is always chill. I try to go back every few weeks because I've never been disappointed.

If you have a craving for a Pina Colada and a BLT at 9:30am, then this is the place! Great food, excellent service and a cool laid back ambiance.. I highly recommend this spot.

The owner needs to pull his or her head out of their six and stock a dark beer like Modelo Negra again. The only thing they've got is Guinness ( a stout ) in a bottle ... Get real, You can't properly serve Guinness without a Stout Faucet or Specialist Tap ... It's in insult that Guinness even markets their product that way in the first place. So my rant is this ... I may go for the food ( although not very often since they stopped stocking Negra ) but they will not get my money from a bar tab any longer. I order Water !

While exploring San Diego, my family and I decided to stop in for a bite after seeing the great reviews, and it turned out to be a solid choice. From the start, our waitress Sydney set the tone—friendly, attentive, and right on top of everything throughout the meal.

We kicked things off with the Garlic Parmesan Fries, which came out hot and flavorful. They started off strong, though by the bottom of the basket they leaned a little too greasy for our taste. Still, a fun way to begin. For the main event, my daughter and I both went with the Chipotle Sunrise Burgers—and wow, they didn’t disappoint. Juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. My wife opted for the turkey wrap, which she enjoyed just as much.

The portions here are generous—you won’t walk out hungry. The vibe makes it a great spot to settle in for a game on TV, too. If you’re in the area and looking for a casual spot with satisfying plates, this place is definitely worth popping into.
