Food is reliably good. The only thing I've been disappointed by is I recently tried their calzone and they used Thai Basil in it. I hate the taste of licorice and the thai basil made it taste like I was eating a licorice calzone. 🤢
I recently dined at Mario's Italian Cafe when I visited my family in Indio California.
It was my first time eating dinner at this location. We all had a very pleasant experience.
We were greeted with a smile. Our server was very attentive and friendly.
Our food was very tasty, plentiful and hot. I enjoy drinking wine with dinner. Mario's offers $5.00 glasses of wine. Happy Hour is $4.00 a glass until 5:30pm.
We did not feel rushed....

I had the lobster and crab cannelloni on fettuccine alfredo w/their amazing $5 glass wine (cabernet sauvignon), completed by a most delicious dessert of tiramisu...and it was all incredibly sublime.
It's been about 25 years+ since I have been to Mario's, and now I regret waiting so long. The food is made to absolute perfection, and the staff is very friendly and attentive.
Overall a complete A+ Italian dinning experience.
