And the look at the portion. Not to mention the tenderness.

“I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is always so amazing and is so authentic! The amazing service, attention to detail, and musical talent from Ashley up front is unmatched! Hearing Ashley’s beautiful voice singing Jamaican gospel has to be the icing on the cake (or on the sweet potato pudding lol) of a lovely meal. “She is always a nice person . Food is decent but portions are a little small as far as meat is concerned . Being from the east coast we have plenty of island cuisine . And it feels good to get some in Inglewood. All she has to do is offer a bigger selection of food . Normally it's just one Jamaican dish to choose from and bean pies and the normal soups and American food . All are great. Just wish she had a bigger variety“

We ordered a variety of dishes and every one tasted fresh and flavorful. The jerk chicken had a nice kick, the rice and peas were well seasoned, and the portions were generous. The sides were cooked right, and the overall meal felt like real, home-cooked Caribbean comfort. Drinks complemented the food well — good value and nice flavor.

After dining at Wah Gwaan, I had to tell management that they would be a spot to contend with back in Florida for Jamaican food. The jerk chicken was awesome and the wife had the oxtails and they were so tender. I recommend this spot to locals, tourists, or anyone that is in the area. When I'm back on the west coast, I'm looking Wah Gwaan Jamaican Kitchen & Bar up again for a delicious meal that reminds me of being back in the tropical south.“

“This was our first experience and it was GREAT! We thought going on a Saturday would be nuts, but it was much the opposite. It wasn't crowded and noisy at all. The vibe was chill, the music was great, not too loud. Diamond was a one woman show lol - she was the hostess, the bartender, our server and bussing tables!!
