China Garden is always our go-to dim sum place. We love the siu mai and pineapple custard buns. However we went today for lunch, obviously the siu mai recipe was changed as it’s less flavored and I think they put lots of fatty pork. Every bite was full of oily greasy fatty pork. It gives us less motivation to go in the future. Luckily the pineapple custard bun is still very good.
This is an excellent choice! The prices are affordable, the portions are generous, and the food is truly authentic Cantonese dim sum. It’s my go-to spot whenever friends come to visit.
This establishment is known for it's excellent Asian cuisine, but horrible customer service. Some of us have chosen to endure it since the loss of Sam Woo. However, I think I've found the key to being treated, at least, decently. I took it upon myself to engage the aloof, borderline rude server.
