House Of Shabu Shabu

Love this place! This is without question my gf and I's favorite shabu shabu spot in all of socal, and we've tried dozens from LA all the way down to SD. Good quality meats, amazing broths (spicy miso being our favorite), and a wonderful assortment of veggies and sides. We've been eagerly waiting for this spot to open up again. Hoping to see everything up and running again, Harry!

my FAVORITE place since 2003!!!! no matter where i go, i jus don't find anywhere else that i like better than this place. i guess also bc it feels like home and largely bc of the owner Harry! Harry supported our student association in college by being one of our sponsors too and his generosity meant a lot to us poor college students at the time. I have known Harry for 20 years now. As one of his first customers I have to say this was my all time favorite place to eat. I went over today for lunch and was shocked to see the building was fire damaged with a "condemned" notice on the door.I asked around and discovered a fire had taken place inside and from the looks of things, it was pretty bad.
