Overall good experience. Had requested a booth and was not seated in one and when I asked the host just said oh sorry. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Enjoyed the Puesto perfect guacamole. It's interesting with the pecorino romano cheese on top. The tacos were good but portion sizes like at many restaurants has become much smaller and at the same time more expensive. Service is average. Not great not awful. Thinking we will try the happy hour instead of main...
The food was tasty and our server was fantastic. We sat down at 6 pm so it was a little early and the atmosphere was a bit on the quiet side but it did pick up by the time we left. Pricing is as expected since it's California, including the 4% surcharge for full time employees' health care, which we deducted from the tip.
Food was great and the service was great. The food took extra long to be delivered and all the restaurant didn't have all the seats full. It was taco Tuesday and national taco day, but without all the table being full I would think the kitchen would be staffed appropriately. I had to pay a 2 or 4% tax to fund the employee benefits.
