Whenever I'm in the area, Somisomi is a must. I walked in with my parents and there was no line at all. There were many people on the benches enjoying their treats and it was full of people but we were free to order. This wasn't our first time getting Somisomi, it's a family favorite of ours but it was our first time here at this location.

Love the softserve ice cream in the fish shaped cake with crispy outside or taiyaki. It's definitely different than a cone. I'm not a red bean fan, but that's one of the other options. They do make it fresh and you can watch them. It's sometimes hard to get a seat in the shade ? on the weekends.

The taste of the taiyaki was piping hot, soft and delicious. It would have been even better if there was more red bean paste in it.
