Super Mex is a lively and inviting Mexican cantina, with a pleasant outdoor seating area. Despite the limited staff, the friendly service was sometimes a bit slow. The Horchata, with free refills, was an enjoyable beverage. The 3-item combo of enchiladas, tamales, and tacos impressed overall, with reasonable portion sizes for the price. While the tamale dough was slightly thicker than expected and the meat lacked some flavor, the meal was still satisfying. Many customers have fond memories of their visits, appreciating the great service and warm atmosphere that has remained consistent over the years. The Carnitas are especially praised for being wonderful, tender, and flavorful. The restaurant offers good food options like fajitas and Carne Asada Nachos, with plenty of seating and the option to order to go. Chips and salsa are considered excellent, and parking is ample, including some handicap spots.
