BEST coffee in town. Trust me, this place is awesome! Not only do they have really yummy drinks, but they also have GREAT service. I bought one of their syrups and accidentally left it at the store - I messaged them and since I live in the neighborhood, they just dropped it off at my house! Support this business everyone, they are just the best. Amazing coffee, great vibes, great service! 100/10 :)

The cappuccinos are great though a bit small. Nice coffee shop and outside patio layout. However, what really sets Cup by Blue Hummingbird Coffee is a Barista named "Colbie". She is one of the nicest, friendliest baristas I've ever met, and I've met many throughout my travels around the USA and Canada. She can strike up a conversation instantly and provide some incredible advice. For example, I mentioned to her that I was suffering with sinusitis for the first time, and she strongly suggested I buy a "Neti Pot". I had no idea what that was but followed her advice. After using the Neti Pot, I got instant relief after a month of sinusitis pain. Even my ENT never mentioned this option. I have no doubt Colbie will be a star no matter where she works or any business she starts !

Hummingbird coffee = 5 starsHam and cheese pastry = 5 starsService/friendly staff = 5 starsThe location is also amazing as a neighborhood cafe. Overall a great cafe that I want hidden so it doesn't get crowded!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon with my family to enjoy some outdoor seating and coffee. The barista stated they couldn't do some drinks because they already rinsed out "the wisk and bowl" and could only make a flat white cold but not hot for another reason. They stated they had started closing already.Thinking it was right before closing, I checked the time. It was 1pm. They close at 2. More people started coming in and the barista continued to explain they are the only one working and have already begun closing because they have to leave by 2:30 and have so much to do.The drinks were also very watery or milky. I watched them make the iced americano that was mostly water with only 1 shot of espresso in a 16oz cup when the standard is 2. Pretty disappointed but felt bad the barista was swamped so just drank my coffee flavored water in the sunshine. At 130 the barista closed the front door signaling they were closing.Management needs to figure out how to support their staff more and provide better training to their baristas.

I got a delicious chai latte here, there was a line out the door but I felt like it moved quickly. The vibe is awesome and tranquil, with a lot of outdoor seating. The only problem I had was that there is no restroom unless you are a resident of the neighborhood/HOA. So not the best coffee place if you're looking to stay for a while or work and don't live in the neighborhood.Would be back otherwise and recommend if you are looking to just grab and go, or live in the neighborhood :)

I love love LOVE this place! The barista, Coby, is the sweetest and makes the best coffee! I always drive down from Tustin, just to get an iced lavender latte with oatmilk because it’s just THAT good. This location is super cute and perfect for stopping by on the way to the Great Park Farmer’s Market. They also carry some great snacks, drinks for on the go, yogurts, and locally made teas. My boyfriend also is a big fan of their pastries, especially the fruit tarts.

Love that this place is close to home. It's in a neighborhood so it's basically street parking which can be a bit of a challenge. The cafe itself is very mesmerizing, such welcoming vibes with cute aesthetics and merch available. Baristas are awesome! I can tell that this is a local neighborhood spot with regulars who frequent here. I appreciated my quick chat with the barista. He suggested to give my latte a good stir and offered to make me a new drink if it wasn't to my liking! Love that!!!!I ordered the Blue Hummingbird Cafe latte which was soooo amazing. I also ordered the guava cream cheese cruffin - I was told the guava is house-made, which I always appreciate. The cruffin was equally as good as the latte!!!The 4 stars is because there's no indoor seating at all. The comfy seats are outdoor and some are paired with umbrellas which is great. I would also love to enjoy the ambiance and take it all the great energy they have inside as well.

Coffee is ok and friendly staff but good lord, don’t come here if you don’t have time. Staff is not the most coffee knowledgeable. Both times I visited here I had a wait of over ten minutes and I was the only one inside.

I can't get keep this place anymore! This neighborhood is always been my favorite in Irvine. The reason why I like this neighborhood is because of cup cup has a fantastic selection of coffees and local treats! Show my pumpkin lovers, they keep their pumpkin syrup you're around! The owner really love the stuff, and I will say it is by far better than any other therapy. I've had! They use real parking in the Sara and you can definitely taste the difference! The team here is really friendly! Cup is a great place to bring a book or meet up with friends and hang out.

Looking for Sunday brunch and coffee after a long night out and having exhausted a good number of spots already, our group decided on Blue Hummingbird. Located in a very residential area, Blue Hummingbird is a modern open-air coffee bar that also serves burritos and assorted pastries. There is only exterior seating, but it's super cute with little tables and futons scattered around under umbrellas on the property. Prices are fair and staff is welcoming!BHB Matcha Latte: easily one of the top 5 matcha beverages I've ever had. Apparently their pandan syrup is blue and contributes that extra bit of fruity sweetness and color to the milk layer. Will come back just for this.Iced Latte: Solid latte. Nothing to write home about, but a latte lover wouldn't object to one of these.Matcha Latte: Unlike the BHB variant, this drink lacks the blue pandan syrup and is consequently milkier and less sweet. Still pretty good though.Chocolate Almond Croissant: super super super sweet. Filled with custard-ish cream that is also super super super sweet. Slight grit from sugar almost.Guava Cream Cheese Croffin: slightly disappointing - tasted stale towards the top and didn't have as much filling as expected.Spinach and Cheese Quiche: Delicious. $6 for a quiche that could last two small meals.Ham Quiche: See above.Breakfast Burrito (bacon, eggs, potato): pre-wrapped and toasted, then served with salsa (only one tiny sauce container). It tasted pretty good, but for the double digit price tag one would expect something freshly made. The kind of place I'd stop to while walking my dog on a warm autumn morning. Will probably return if in the area!
