Around 1:20pm yesterday, the cashier I encountered was not friendly at all. Like you can feel her vibes is really off. Customer service is very important, so I hope proper training can be provided.
That said, I want to acknowledge that during my other visits, the rest of the staff have generally been pleasant and helpful. This experience just stood out compared to the usual service.

Valerio's Irvine did not disappoint with my turon order. It's located inside Seafood City and will be on your right as you enter. They have a wide variety of traditional Filipino rice cakes and bread. I was able to order 12 pieces on the day of. It only cost a little above $20. If you'd like to avoid paying an extra 50 cents using card, I suggest to pay in cash (which I did). Be sure to ask for a receipt if you need it. Valerio's Bakehouse, located inside Seafood City in Irvine, offers a wide variety of traditional Filipino rice cakes and bread. The turon is a standout, described as perfectly crispy, crunchy, caramelized, sweet, and just right. The sapin-sapin dessert is also liked. While the flan has been noted as not creamy and a bit overcooked, the staff are extremely kind and attentive to making things right, with great customer service. The manager immediately addresses concerns. Most staff are generally pleasant and helpful, though one cashier was noted as not friendly or smiling. There is a 50-cent card fee for purchases, so paying in cash is suggested. The bakery is a place where if you are not happy, they deserve a chance to make it right.
