“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

I ordered a torta de asada and was very upset. 5 pieces of black aguacate and half a piece of tomato for the entire torta. Than my husband ordered some tacos and the meat wasn’t seasoned and half of the meat was burned. My boyfriend accidentally dropped all three of his tacos right after getting them 😅 When he went back to order more, they asked if something was wrong with the tacos. “Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

I was craving carne asada, but great carne asada not the bland stuff you find at most places. They city we live in DOES NOT have a single place that satisfies our taco and burritos craving. We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint. Trust the 5 star reviews. They're telling the truth. Although this is a 30-40 minute drive from home, we will gladly make the drive for this food. Oh and the horchata is the best!“

“626 was a pretty fun experience overall. The planning was pretty good, as the food, games, shops, and entertainment were all separated from each other, so it was pretty easy to walk around and experience everything 626 had to offer. The carnival games were actually pretty fun to play, which was a big plus. The squid stick was definitely the highlight of the food for me, as it was worth the long wait to get it.

The only bad things was the unpredictability of the quality of almost every shop. Some of the food was pretty good, some not worth the money. The lobster bread I got was not only expensive, but it was small and not good. There were also a lot of shops that were kind of repetitive, as Labubus was everywhere. If you go next time, go with a bunch of people, look up some food recommendations before waiting in line, and just enjoy!“
