“My favorite taco place! I used to frequent here when my office is close by. I still make the drive here to get their tacos and burrito and ceviche because I, or my kids, have the cravings. I've been getting their catering trays for company events and it's always a hit. ?“

I called about 5-6 times nobody answered , the last called i made i was in the corner of la Bufadora , when i came inside place was empty maybe two tables were taken at the most and one person waiting for an order . I asked the cashier, Alejandro if the phone was working and he said they didn’t answer because they were very busy .. Yes they were busy but talking among each other with the cooks when i got there . “It's been a few months since we've been there. My husband doesn't care for it as much as I do. I told him let's please go and I would treat him. I was craving their beef hard shell tacos. They were closed because of July 4th holiday. Apparently, they stayed closed for a couple of days afterwards. He said that is why he feels that they don't stay open long enough for business. If you notice their hours. However, their food and atmosphere is amazing. As well as their service. One time, we ordered for pick up. They were so nice. They threw in extra chips and salsa. “If you have not had the chance to dine in at Girasol, I highly recommend it. The chicharon with guac is a must as a starter, make sure you get some of the spicy sauce. As for a recommendation for a meal, well you have to come in and try. We loved the chilaquiles, the carne en su juego, the menudo, and the breakfast burrito. If you have a sweeter taste, the French toast, the pancakes and the crepe are awesome. But as mentioned before, you just have to come in and try everything.“

“It's located next to Mi Pulgarcito Pupiseria Salvadoreña and near GS Ethiopian Cafe. I had went to this plaza for another restaurant but they closed already for lunch. I decided to try this grilled chicken place, reminds me of Juan Pollo or El Pollo Loco. It seems family owned with a young teen taking my order.

I chose to try the 16 piece family special with half spicy and regular chicken ($44.99) which came with 4 large sides, tortillas and salsa. I chose their macaroni salad, potato salad, rice, and beans. I got a lunch special for myself that came with a can of soda. The seasoning on the chicken was good, the spicy chicken had a good heat. The skin was crispy and the chicken was moist. My family did not like the sides of macaroni and potato salad.

“I was told about this place from an out of town coworker that has relatives near by. The owner/cook was very hospitable and everything was surprisingly low priced. Tacos were very tasty and well balanced. I would go back definitely. The only thing I didn’t really like was the parking lot cause its entrance is very close to a busy blvd with fast traffic. You have to exit very carefully. I recommend either parking in the back, side street or back in.“

Anytime I have a difficult day, I love coming here and treating myself to the shrimp burrito. They also offer grilled shrimp!

“I've made a few pit stops here through the past year and it's always been on point. Their tacos are made with top quality meats. Their birria has been my favorite. And their breakfast burritos have just been top notch for me.

A lot of people in Uptown are sleeping on thos place.
Also feel it's best after a night of fun at the bars in the area.

I told the waitress, and it took a long time to bring them, when the rest of the food was cold. Also, the chiles toreados, which are supposed to go with the food. Why would I want that when I've finished my meal? It took them more than seven minutes to bring a beer. It would be great if they could see how they could speed up the service. I had the Chiapas #3 on the host’s recommendation and it was delicious - the chorizo and eggs was a bit oversalted, I think they double salted the chorizo and then again in the eggs, so that did show up a bit strong. I got the flautas which were lovely and thin while still being substantial. I got the platanos duros con crema dulce for desert, so good, just the right amount of char for sweet and a little savory. The chicken soup tastes unique, fresh, delicious. The spoon you use will be coated in viscous, golden goodness. A bunch of this food I got to go to share with a friend. We are both happy I came. Final note, I felt comfortable, safe, and welcome as a solo lady diner. 🌹🙏🏾“

“Food was amazing. The orange drink was an absolute favorite. I ordered to go and my son accidemtally left partial order by the salsa table. “A gem in the city of Monrovia. It’s in a small plaza next to a laundromat, near a liquor store and across from another taco stand—this taco stand across the way doesn’t serve fish tacos. This place has a good variety on their menu, but the prized item is their fish tacos. Quite tasty and delicious with green or red (for the more spicy palettes) salsa. “Amazing Sope Tacos Desvelados is basically a thick tortilla with lots of tasty things on top of it. The base is made from masa dough, which is cooked until the outside gets crispy and the inside stays soft and chewy. Each bite tastes great because of the different textures that are mixed together.“
