“My days of partying are long behind me. Perhaps once a year I do anything fun at all. But I understand the beauty and psychology of late night garbage meals. These folks have it down to a science, and few do it better.

There’s very few places outside of NYC bodegas and Instagram Reels where one can find food this decadent and depraved. Hey Chef! Go ahead and put chicken strips, bacon, a fried egg, french fries, and buffalo sauce into a tortilla and fry the thing. Might as well pour a beer into it too. Who cares. It's not normal. But when they serve it here, I’ll slop it up with a smile on my face.

The atmosphere is distinctly that of a college town whose primary food crowd arrives at midnight. Pictures of a more reckless past on the walls, a digital jukebox (which seems to default to Travis Scott Radio), and employees that are sick of people forgetting their order numbers. Who could want more? The service is quick, and there are multiple burgers with jalapeno poppers just shoved right in the middle. Slop slop slop it up.

The surprising thing is that the value here really isn’t bad. The Gaucho Burger (a real classic) remains around ten dollars, even in these trying times. There’s bacon and avocado on there, which I thought by now would be additions reserved only for those of the 1%. The important thing is that you don’t ask questions, and that you request extra chipotle sauce on the side and dip everything you get in it.“

“We just had the best customer service experience at Mesa Burger! Three young men—Damien, EJ, and Nathan—took our order, served our drinks, and brought out our food. They were attentive, polite, and so thoughtful in the way they cared for every customer.

We also noticed how hard they worked to keep the restaurant clean and welcoming. It’s rare to see such maturity, teamwork, and genuine kindness in young employees.

“The vegan burger (plus the combo fries and drink) is amazing. Probably the best clearly-labelled vegan burger you're going to get in the area, since it has a good patty, a good bun, and a delicious thousand island sauce, and the vegan options in IV are lacking… $10 for a vegan burger, fries, and drink is better than almost any place I've been to. Fast service, but you eat in a cafeteria-like setting. Haven't tried the black bean or hummus burger, but I'm sure they're good too. I come here every week as a lunch between my classes.“

“I had to stop eating and write this review. I don’t know how this place ended up here, but I’m glad it did! Chicken, perfectly fried, Mac and cheese, delicious. Cole slaw…this is the one I’m so picky about because I enjoy Southern food a lot for a little white girl from Chicago lol but most places miss the mark…and this was some of the best I ever had! “Day trip to Goleta for Disc Golf and hiking at Gaviota, landed us here for food afterward. Unfortunately, missed breakfast but got pizza and salad. The food was very good, but not great. “Underrated and less crowded than the Arbor. Apparently they used to have amazing grilled cheese, but I haven't seen them selling grilled cheese since covid. They have some pretty good lunch options. They close earlier than expected, so make sure they're open if you're planning to stop by in the afternoon.“

Caitlin is the one that’s helped me a few times and she’s an exceptional employee she honestly deserves a raise because the customer service for a food place like this is beyond what I expected. “The service was good. The waitress that served us was good she was friendly and courteous, as well as the manager. The food was all around good. The only thing that could have been better. The breakfast sausage and bacon was under cooked. They need to cook that more, especially pork.“

It opens from 5am to 12 pm.

It looks like a new location or a grand opening. It is cozy and bright with unique features compared to other establishments.

I like all fast food restaurants Happy Meals. The food is great and more healthy. The prices are good with a variety of items.

The best and most important part is that I collected the toys and gave them to my friend’s kids.

I wonder if Uncle McDonald would be as happy as my friend’s child if he knew the impact of his creation.“
