“Great restaurant ! We were visiting Summerland from France this January, and had a night out at The Nugget : the food was delicious, the atmosphere is very typical and friendly, and the staff was very pleasant. We had an amazing time and a super nice chat with one of the waiter.“
“We were driving home from LA and looking for a good restaurant for breakfast. Lots of choices came up, and Farmer Boy looked appealing, so that's where we went. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasty. The coffee hot and very good. And our waiter looked after us! Well stop there again while driving through.“
“Oysters on the half shell were delicious. Very fresh, light, and delicate. The cocktail sauce and horseradish were tasty. A vingarette was served as well. That went surprisingly well with the oysters. My daughter, who is not a fan of raw oysters, tried a couple and actually liked them. That's saying a lot. Definitely recommend the oysters. We had the Calamari. It was okay, not great. I had the wagyu beef sandwich without the jalapeño mayonnaise. The medium rare was cook was perfect. My daughter has the cod fish and chips. The fish was light with ample batter. The pineapple coleslaw was in interesting change from regular coleslaw, and not too sweet. We took flourless chocolate cake to go. When we did have it a few hours later, the cake had held up well. It was rich, moist, and had a smooth chocolate flavor. All-in-all, I would recommend Teddy's by the Sea.“
“First time at Finney’s. Got there around 8 pm on a Friday in the off season and the place was full. Had a nice vibe. Six of us sat at the beer for dinner. Had two of their craft beers - a pale ale and a west coast IPA. Both were very well made. I had blackened Ahi tuna on a broc roll with a wasabi aoli/relish. The tuna was done perfectly. Finney’s is worth a try.“
“The food was so good, we went 2 days in a row. The French Toast was my favorite. It was just regular French toast, but it was cooked perfectly! I also had the blackened salmon omelet. Sooooooo good! The salmon was also perfect. Not dried out! Definitely get there early because they get crowded!“
“Loved it here, quaint beachside Cafe. Stopped here on our way to Paso Robles, because Katie Perry said they had the best margaritas. They are very good. We started with the fried Calamari and some clam chowder and then had fish and delicious shrimp tacos.“
“Great food and friendly staff. Dog friendly restaurant the parking was easy worth driving down here from Santa Barbara. In Carpenteria and most of Santa Barbara there are more dogs than people! Every single couple brought their dog with them on vacation and the dogs are in every park, hotel and restaurant. Kind of a downer for people who don't want to be surrounded by others pets. Food was good“
“The first time here and definitely not the last. The wait staff were fantastic. Thank you Hudson for looking after us.The calamari were cooked to perfection. Slices of calamari steak not rings like most places. The Ahi Pokie stack was really good with a corn and pineapple base. The view was the topping. Watching the dolphins swim by was simply stunning. All finished off with hot towels for our hands.I will be back soon.“
“The food was excellent as always. We just got unlucky because our server was not attentive. She forgot to bring our bread basket and was slow to refill our water glasses. After our meal was completed she didn't come by to check on us and we ended up asking the hostess to get our waitress for our check. We love the food there are will of course be back!“
“I lived three years in Carp and for some reason I never thought about going to Zookers. I think the name threw me off even though people would tell me I should go there. Finally after driving through Carp on my daily commute, my son and I decided we should give it a try. He really wanted the fried chicken sandwich however that item was not available on the dinner menu so he went for the burger instead and I had a tofu dish. We got some bread too. Let me tell you we were shocked how good everything tasted! The food was incredible - every bite a delight. His pup style burger cooked and seasoned to perfection. ( mind you my son is a burger snob) - and the potatoes crispy and super tasty. My tofu waiter dish was also really good. Pretty much every bite including the bread basket was amazing. We really wanted to try the dessert and the staff was so nice to split it for us since we were too full for the whole portion alone. The presentation was spot on too. Even though it's in a mini mall once you enter this culinary oasis you immediately forget that the sketchy albertson parking lot. The next day we decided to order the fried chicken sandwiches to go. And let me tell you they did not disappoint either , probably the best fried chicken I had in a long time. We could not wait to eat them at home so we started to nibble on them outside Starbucks and had many people approach us where we got these incredible tasty looking sandwiches. I still can't believe we have not gone there sooner and most reviewers on here seem to agree with me that this is the best restaurant in carp if not Santa Barbara. It had a very inviting feeling to it, a place where many people seem to return for a meal and beautiful local artwork on the wall for sale. We will be coming back for sure!“
“We went here for a late lunch the other day and everything we had was delicious. Prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly. We had the California burrito, double cheeseburger burger with fries and a horchata. We ate outside on the patio with our dog and had a great experience. Definitely recommend this place.“
“Really enjoyed a quick lunch with my friend here- friendly service, great food and relaxing atmosphere!Their brioche bun is always amazing & My usual favorite is the California club. I decided to try the bacon and egg burger for the first time and loved it- The fries were also super fresh!“
“Great burgers ? at a even greater price! Both me and my husband ate here and paid under 20$ That's unheard of these days!Food was out quick and out for seating was nice. I wish we had one in Lompoc ?I guess they have been in SB for years but we never noticed them before. Tiny little building that you definitely would miss if your not paying attention. We will DEFINITELY be back for more!“
“Really great atmosphere, not much room to eat inside, but outside has plenty of seating. I will say parking is pretty scarce here. Very limited, so be prepared to wait for parking or park far away and walk to this location. It seems really busy but not as crowded as you'd expect.“
“Best burger in town but chubby is still number one then Mesa Burger will be number two let's just say the habit is far down the listKid-friendliness: There's always kids there love the youngstersParking: The small parking lot but there's always seem to be parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Food and service are excellentThe staff is very nice and helpfulThe only drawback was that the music was very loud and felt noisyPrices are average. Note that IHOP branches often offer free coffee refills, but in Qatar this service does not exist“
“We stopped at this small hole-in-the wall place that has great Mexican tacos and burritos (en route to LA). Food was simple and excellent, great prices, warm staff and a friendly efficient chef. The bathroom could use more frequent cleaning and some soap!“
“Heard this was the "SPOT" for a great burger. It was great. I ordered chili cheese fries too. Amazing. Was in town for a little vacation and this place was recommended. Easy pick up. Cash only. Local hangout. Will definitely return.“
“We went with friends and ate on the patio out front. The food was delicious, although a bit pricey, but we expected that given the location. I had the sourdough bacon cheese burger. Excellent.Being that my own last name is Tinker, I mentioned it to the staff. I learned that Tinker is actually the owner's nickname. He learned that we were there and came out to visit. Very nice gentleman. He gifted me a Tinker Burger hat during his visit. We enjoyed the place very much!“
