“I wanted to see how they do their banh mi since I've never heard of an ahi tuna banh mi before but they definitely give plenty of ahi tuna (though you can't really see)! It doesn't taste like a regular banh mi but I didn't expect it to. The employees were really nice too. They could tell I was in a bit of a rush (I had a short break to grab food) and kept me updated on which order they were on. The restaurant itself is super cute and I would definitely go back to try more food!“
“The taste is very authentic and home-cooked. There is no taste of MSG or chicken essence. It is very natural food. There are no additives or anything that does not meet the natural conditions. It is worth recommending, even in the entire greater Los Angeles area. Said to be a unique and very healthy restaurant. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the best taste I have tasted in the United States. If this restaurant were in Los Angeles, I believe it would attract the support of many people. This tastes much better than many of those Internet celebrity restaurants. I recommend everyone around you who wants to eat delicious Chinese food to try it. Please believe that as someone who has eaten food from all over China, I am not a gourmet, but I can still recommend it to food lovers!“
“It can be difficult to find parking, they do have a parking lot in the back- though it can get quite tight. My family and I always order to pick up, and no matter how large the order it's always ready in 10 minutes! They also get the order right every time. Now, when dining in it can be a bit tricky. This place can get packed with UCSB students or small groups around dinner time. When eating here the staff sometimes is a bit curt. They are quick to bring out your food as well as the check. I do appreciate the delicious pho on a chilly day, especially with jalapeños and extra sirarcha.“
“My go-to place when driving to/from Solvang and LA.To me, the tofu pad c ew is pretty much perfect. A generous portion with the right balance of fried egg, crunchy broccoli, tofu and noodles with a good bite and chew to them. Well-flavored, not too sweet, but even better when you add some Thai chilies in fish sauce. The mango sticky rice is pretty darned good too (yes, a complete carb overload for lunch but what the heck, it really hits the spot!)Vegetarian options: Tofu substitute available in most dishes“
“The food is always incredible, well prepared and very consistent. Portions are hearty in size and huge on flavor! Service is always friendly. Nicely spaced seating with surround booths on the walls gives enough space to survive the lunch hour.“
“I had the pho noodles with beef briskets, popcorn chicken and melon tea. I just wanna say the brisket is the best in SB!!! The popcorn chicken is a must-order-item!!!The shop looks modern and clean. Looking forward to try their Creamy Tom Yum noodle soup!!! Hope they will have some fried rice soon!!!“
