Great wine and lovely view of the mountains. Service was great. The lady at the front was the sweetest and most welcoming. She explained the wines and checked up on us. Also it's family friendly! My husband and I went with my toddler and newborn and my newborn enjoyed seeing the chickens and goats.
If you live in San Diego, Jamul might as well be as far away as Palm Springs. So, of course it was a surprise to me to actually realize that Jamul was only a 30 minute drive from central San Diego. It's even closer than Temecula and such a more laid back vibe! There is a whole section of wineries out here that are worth exploring. I had an absolutely great visit to Granite Lion Cellars.
